we were celebrating our first year wedding anniversary dinner, service was good but the food was a bit disappointed as I ordered the rainbow trout, came out super dry and was lots of fish bones in my fish. :( I do enjoy the house green salad.

Years ago when I worked in Seattle, I viewed the downtown McCormick & Schmicks as one of the best dining venues for professionals. I have now been located in the Bellevue office of my firm for a while and thought I'd give the Bellevue M&S a try. It was a disappointment. I found not 1, but 2 strands of hair cooked into my rainbow trout, which was drowning in butter/oil. The appetizer wasn't warm. Desert was similarly mediocre. On a bright note, the waitresses were personable and attentive. The food was a disappointment from beginning to end. First rate restaurants with excellent food fill up at lunch. M&S filled out about a third to one-half of the available seats on a Thursday. I know why. You can do better.

The lobster salad is my favorite here, just ask to get romaine lettuce instead of iceberg. The salmon good, mushrooms and brussel sprouts very tasty. Didn't have anyrhibg else this time. There s some peculiar smell when you walk in(you get used to it but that's not good) I think it's the carpet smell, it's bothersome.

We have dined at McCormick and Schmicks often in the past. Last night is the last time we'll eat here. The calamari "fritto misto" included breaded and fried carrots, jalapeño peppers and artichoke hearts. The fried vegetables were unexpected and not particularly appetizing. I ordered lobster tail and beef medallions which was served with roasted potatoes and grilled tomato. The beef medallions were cold andthe lobster tasted good but had the consistency of rubber. My companions strip steak oscar came with roughly two teaspoons of crab and was served with asparagus which was tough and mashed potatoes. Our waiter was "slammed" and didn't check in with us until we were done. Management did camp the entrees but it was a disappointing evening.

The menu was very appealing with a lot of choices; however, our meals were very disappointing. My $20 lobster cobb salad lacked flavor and my son's fra davolo pasta with mussels was bland as well. I couldn't believe how much money we had spent on a lunch that should have been outstanding. Will not eat there again.

We were disappointed. We have dined at downtown McCormick and Schmick's and loved it, the crab cakes were awesome! the rest of the food was "foodie" quality. We even have one of their cookbooks. But our experience at the one in Bellevue was not anywhere near as good. And it was for my 30 year old daughter's birthday. The scallops were not seared, they were greasy and just not cooked right. Anybody who watches Gordon Ramsey, would know how to cook scallops. The pan needs to go 'SSSSS' in order to sear them. And the rest of our meal was just so-so.

We have visited this restaurant multiple times and the food quality every time is just fair. The fish is good but has been overcooked on multiple occasions so on this last visit, my wife and I got streaks and where not impressed. For the price of the steaks, I expected better quality as they were not flavorful, dry and somewhat overcooked. Next time I want a steak dinner, I will go to a steakhouse as the prices are similar. However, we went there for my daughter's birthday and they created a personalized menu for us saying "happy 8th birthday" on it which made it extra special for her and the personal touch was impressive.

Three of us dined here during a business trip. Food was served cold and summarily sent back. They reheated our steaks and shrimp. Wow. Had them refire the entire order and still came out cold. How is that possible? Shrimp on both orders were grilled into rubbery bullets. We ate it because we were hungry. Service was good though and the manager comp'd the entrees at least.

Not my first dining experience at a McCormick & Schmick's, but my first at the Bellevue location. Nonetheless, the quality and taste of the food was up to their standard. The mussels were delicious! The chef did not overcook the mussels to rub and kept them tender. Surprisingly the kobe burger is the best I've had in Bellevue.

We were given gift cards for McCormick and Schmicks, so we tried it on my husbands birthday. Our waiter figured out it was his birthday and brought him a special treat with a candle. The men enjoyed a bottle of red wine and I enjoyed a yummy pomegranate martini. We would most definitely return, if we weren't moving to Wyoming. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

Our party of 6 had dinner there to celebrate my husband's 75th birthday and our adult son's birthday as well. The food was good and the waiter was excellent. Menu's with my husband's name and 75th birthday congratulations were an added bonus from the usual free ice cream with a candle on top. The place was crowded (Sat. night 6 PM) and a little noisy, but we still could carry on a conversation. Great place to dine!

I came back to McCormick and Schmick's a second time in one week for the great fish and appetizers. My coworker and I both enjoyed the stuffed salmon dinner, but the star of the meal was the dungeness crab tower with avocado and mango. What a great combination. It was perfectly portioned for the two of us to share. The lobster bisque is also wonderful, but don't expect to be able to eat all of your meal too, unless you have a big appetite!

My wife & I ate at McCormick's via the recommendation of my father-in-law, & we're glad we did; we had an amazing experience. First off, I used the Open Table app on iOS to make a reservation, & added, "celebrating our 7-year wedding anniversary" to the notes. When we arrived the hostess mentioned that she had something "special" for us & brought out menus with "Happy 7th Anniversary to the Macks" along the top. We got to keep the menus (which got tied up in a nice bow). After dinner, we were also given a great dessert! This was a great experience.

I asked the waitress if there was something special for celebrating my birthday there, she said I would get a complimentary dessert. Choosing McCormick's & Schmick's is a great choice every time. While they are kid-friendly, the physical layout provides for intimacy at each table so it is possible to have a romantic or group dining experience all your own. The entire menu is comprised of delights for many different tastes. I always take longer deciding on my menu choice than in other restaurants, as the entrees I have had before are memorable - but, truly, no choice is a wrong choice off this well-crafted menu.

We made a reservation for two people for lunch at 12:30 pm on Sunday June 15, 2014 at McCormick & Schmicks Bellevue location. Our waiter seemed okay to start but definitely lacking knowledge of the daily menu. I ordered the Parmesan Crusted Sole on the menu and my wife ordered the Santa Fe Shrimp Salad as our main dish. The waiter returned ten minutes later to tell me that the was Sole was not available but said that Tilapia fish was available. I ordered the Almond Crusted Rainbow Trout instead. Our dishes finally arrived and my wife discovered that the salad was missing the avocado which went back to the kitchen for correcting. Our bill arrived and had to get it corrected as the waiter charged me for three menu items in error.
