Service was very good, but the prices were high. The large party seated next to us was distracting and noisy and affected what could have been a much nicer ambiance. Wines were over priced as well. Food was good.

This restaurant hosted a special event for veterans on Veterans Day, providing them a free entrée. Congratulations M&S for your gesture to those who served. Our waiter, also a young vet, went out of his way to honor and please.

My husband, who is a former Marine, was met at the hostess station by a very pleasant young lady. We had reservations, and were immediately escorted to our table. This was during the Veterans' Day celebration. However, we have eaten at this restaurant previously and have enjoyed our experience there, and at your restaurant at the National Harbor, as well as downtown D.C. We will be eating at your Inner Harbor restaurant in the very need future.

We have never been to this restaurant before but we wanted to try it because they were honoring veterans with a special menu. My husband is the vet so he ordered off their special menu and when the food came out they used the biggest plate possible so visually it looked like they forgot half of his serving in the kitchen. He did say it tasted fine. I ordered off the regular menu but ended up somehow getting a special item off of the veteran's menu. No big deal, it was still tasty but it wasn't what I ordered.

this was our second visit, with the first being a great memorable experience last year. Unfortunately this visit was not memorable. We felt rushed from the time we sat down (it was a Dat night at 6pm) through the appetizer and dinner. There was a large and loud wedding reception taking place that was heard throughout one whole side of the dining room. Drinks and apps were well prepared (oysters and shrimp kisses). The meals were good, but nothing better than you could get at your chain seafood restaurant. I had three grilled shrimp, two stuffed shrimp, and a hunk of salmon with vegetables. Can't say it was worth the $200 we laid down for the two of us.

All six of us thoroughly enjoyed the lunch, the service, the view, and the atmosphere. We plan on repeating the experience in the Spring.

Crab cakes were perfect, good size and little binding them, excellent. Our server was really slow, not attentive, strangely absent when we needed him. Ordered 3 different bottles of wine only to have him come back 10 minutes later each time with the answer that they ran out of that wine. Finally, I asked what they did have. Not well stocked and he should have figured it out after the first time.

The waiter was ignorant of the menu. He couldn't tell us what drinks were on offer; he took the drink menu from me so he could read it. Our request for more bread was ignored. One entree came out with the wrong sides, and another came out with no sides. The manager also seemed crass and not terribly well trained. I did not feel well-treated and even wonderful food (which this wasn't) can't overcome that obstacle.

After hearing such wonderful reports of others' experience at McCormick and Schmick's, I was delighted to finally get an opportunity to dine with you. Unfortunately, the food was very overcooked and the wait service was extremely slow. The staff was friendly, just otherwise preoccupied on a very slow Sunday morning in your restaurant. If I were to spend the same amount on dining out in Baltimore in the future, I am not certain I would take the chance on being so underwhelmed at that price point. Thank you for the opportunity to provide you with feedback.

This was the worst dining experience that I can remember - I should have just walked out. It took approximately 1 hour from the time of ordering appetizers to delivery to our table. The dinner entree took about the same amount time. An addition to the entrée was requested, but not included when the dinner was delivered to the table. At least 4 wait staff passed our table while we waited for water to be refilled. Our server Dane was oblivious to everything. The restaurant appeared to be properly staffed, and it was not very busy. No one from management touched the table. I would suggest anyone visiting Baltimore try other establishments unless they wish to have to same experience that we encountered.

This was my third visit and it just made me wonder maybe I should never go there anymore. The restaurant was quite empty that night and still no one came to our table to serve us until I went and asked for it. Food was not that good anymore as well. We ordered their seasonal special menus and they were just not good. The only good food we loved is actually the deserts, especially the berry pudding.

This restaurant is in a nice location in the heart of downtown Baltimore. It had ample paid parking and you can have parking ticket validated in restaurant. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is of fine dinning. The tables are close so not a lot of privacy for talking. My waitress was slow and did not check in with us as frequently as we needed. Also my son used the wrong credit card to pay a portion of the bill, and the waitress came back and in a loud manner & blurted that the card was declined. She was not discreet about it at all.

We have been patrons at M & S in Baltimore for years and have enjoyed their food; however, last night was not one of them. While it has been some time since our last visit we were surprised at the changes we found during our dining experience. We experienced small portions, bland flavor and poor quality of drinks. The chefs and bartender(s) must be new and could benefit from a lot more training! Our waiter was exceptional, and we appreciated the attention he gave to our table. We made no complaints because it was a celebratory evening out for us, but rest assured it will be a long while before we return.

...did not disappoint. We visited McCormick & Schmick's (Baltimore) with a party of 8 that included 2 children. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and at no time did we feel uncomfortable for bringing children. Our server was attentive without being overbearing, and did a good job keeping up with everyone's beverage refills. The food was very good, and everything was cooked as ordered. The portions were on the small side, but this is to be expected with the companies theme/advertisement of healthy eating. Overall a very pleasurable experience.

I have always enjoyed coming to this restaurant in the past but this visit was incredibly disappointing. We were there for a birthday dinner and picked this restaurant because in the past the food has been excellent and the service exceptional. That night the service was terrible and the food only ok. It was not good value for the money paid. The only redeeming thing of the evening was the fact that the manager took an interest in our table and tried to make things right. She was on her game but her staff did not seem to be.

The service was great and our waitress was very attentive. Besides that everything else was lacking. We ate dinner outside at 8:30 PM and it was incredibly dark. The only light available was a tiny candle for each table. We had to use our cell phones to see the menu. The food was mediocre at best. I ordered a medium steak that was completely charred on the outside and way over done. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

This was the worst dining experience we have had a restaurant in this class. The wait staff was fair, but every time they passed each other they would some kind of hand smacking game and then squeal and carry on. This was very annoying. My glass was chipped. There was paper strewn on the floor near the bathroom. Our appetizer was under cooked, the crab cakes were overcooked and our dessert which was to be topped with ice cream, came without it. To our dismay when the bill came, we had been overcharged by $15. The manager did fix that. Thankfully, we were paying with gift cards and didn't need to shell out any money, but my daughter did when she gave us the gift.

we booked a reservation for 9 on the busiest night of the year - Star Spangled Celebration - our reservation was honored at our desired time, however, it took almost 30 minutes for our waitress to take our orders for appetizers and dinner - once our orders were taken our dinners did come out at a reasonable time and hot. Since our ocassion for coming was a birthday celebration, the honorees (6 of them) were all treated to special candle desserts on the house - what fun! Our waitress was more than happy to wait and serve out desserts after the fireworks that night. Overall, it was a good night outing for birthdays and fireworks
