One of the few places in the world to enjoy great seafood and watch seaplanes land and take-off! An amazing view of Lake Union. Competent staff ready to make a recommendation. Consistent comfort seafood dishes makeup for a lack of over the top taste. Our first place we take out of town guests to wow them with Seattle, and a favorite for our anniversary, especially if we get a booth or window. Highly recommended!

The whole experience was delightful, we and our out-of-town guests enjoyed both the food and the view and we all found the service to be prompt, accurate, and attentive without being pushy. We will certainly go there again ourselves, and take visitors whenever we have them.

M & S was refered to me by a friend. Overall I had a very nice time. But if I could change one thing, it would have been my waiter. After being seated he ask if he served my wife water and it was 15min. before he returned to take our order. After serving us our dinner, he came to our table only once to give us another soda and when we wanted to pay our bill, I had to have another waitress box my remaing dinner and find our waiter. On any other night he may be the best, but on this night, frankly, he SUCKED, BIG TIME. Didn't ask if this was our first visit, no sugguestion, did not re-fill our water, did let me know that he would valadate our parking. I am sold on M & S, but not this waiter. I will go back to M & S, but not this waiter

The seafood selection is always excellent. They do a great job personalizing menus for special occasion, but they should watch what they say. Mine said "Happy Birthday Kelly". The only problem is my name is Dan. I was there to celebrate my birthday (on monday April 14) and my three other friends birthdays (one was on Saturday April 12, and the other April 15 and April 5) and non of us where named kelly. Besides that food great, dessert great, service ok I didn't think it was that busy but I could have been wrong. Thank you for a good experience.

Dinner on Saturday night the 12th 2008 at McCormick & Schmick's Harborside - Lake Union was some quite experience. It was our first time and we were not really impressive about the restaurant that much. Because first when we walk into the restaurant, the receptionist wasn't that friendly, the foods was ok, the waiter wasn't that nice and the restroom was very dirty. We have been to a lot of nice restaurnats, McCormick & Schmick's Harborside - Lake Union is the worst experience we ever had.

I was not sure what to expect with this restaurant, but was very pleasantly surprised. Both my husbands and my dinner was excellent, I would return and have no problem ordering the same item. It was not as fancy as I thought it would be, but that did not matter. Great restaurant, with a great view of Lake Union and the boats.

We had a 6:00 reservation and ended up having to wait about 15 minutes for a table so we were a little frustrated at first but once we were seated our frustration disappeared. We were tended to immediately with bread to satisfy our starving tummies and our waiter was superb! I wish I could remember his name. The food was absolutely amazing - the best we've had that we can remember. We will definately tell our friends and will definately return ourselves. Thanks for a wonderful evening.

Food was tasty but with the exception of the mashed potatoes it was not exactly cold but barely warm. When the waiter, who had been very attentive up to that point, asked about the food we told him the situation. From that point on he virtually ignored us. Whether the wait person left it sitting to long because he was slow, or covering to many tables, or whether the kitchen was to slow to let him know the food was ready the result was the same, cold food. We told the maitre'd about it and he offered to comp the meals, which we declined. We don't go out looking for free food and have always in the past been happy with McCormick and Schmick. We will give them one more try.

I do use the Alaska Airlines coupons given to us when we fly in Jan. and that is a great incentive to get us up there, usually it is for a birthday celebration. The food is always very good. We will be back again soon for another occasion. :)

For a party of 5 adults, a 5-year old, a 3-year old and a 4 month old, this turned out to be a marvelous dining experience. The food, as usual, was excellent Although it was a a crowded, Friday night, our table was ready on time and the service was impeccable. Our waitress was especially nice and kid friendly as were a couple sitting right next to us. This is one of my favorite places to take family and friends when I venture over from Sequim.

Went for Easter Brunch -- great selection of food, waiter very attentive. However, it was a little weird having to walk down the office building hallway to a conference room to get the buffet. Also, most all of the food we had at 11:45 was luke warm. It almost felt like the room was set up too early with food and by the time the diners in that area started walking the buffet line, the food sat too long and was barely warm. Wasn't expecting this from a place of this caliber. Overall, the taste and selection however was really good. Price was a little high for what I ate. I would consider going back there again.

We have always enjoyed this restaurant, but this visit was terrible. I think both the waitress and the kitchen were struggling as our food was stone cold and very late. When the waitress offered to take it back, we thought she was bringing us new food, but she told us they just reheated the plates. I won't pay $25 or more for cold then reheated fish and steak, that now was dry and STILL COLD. The 2 tables next to us were also very dissatisfied, and we left hungry. We will try it again - this may have been an isolated incident - but pretty noteworthy and I hope does not happen next time or we will make another choice.
