Every dish was just a little too over seasoned. Lots if salt it seemed. We ordered steamers that were way over flavored. I like simple spiced meals that do not over whelm your taste buds. Salads were very good

Service was very slow. Our server seemed very stressed although her section wasn't full. I've been a server and "never let them see you sweat". She said she'd check back with us about our meal but did not. We waited a long time for drinks, our meal and the check. My trout was a bit overdone, but not enough to complain about. I found the vegetable choice strange. It was all zucchini and nothing else. I already had squash in my orzo. The food was tasty though. I was very surprised to see the hostess in legging capris with a short jacket. I don't think that's appropriate attire.

The steak and lobster were really great! The side dish was potatoes that were very tasty. The only thing that was even slightly less than perfect was being in a nearly empty restaurant and being placed right next to a table with one very noisy person who talked the whole time (really shouted the whole time).

We have dined at many of the McCormick restaurants in the past but this was our first visit at this restaurant. This had to be one of the better experiences we have had at a M & S restaurant. We are really picky about fish being cooked properly. We had the Lingcod and Albacore which were both cooked to perfecion. I would highly recommend either of these fish. We also had salads that were excellent. Overall a great experience and I am sure we will be back again

We went to McCormick & Schmick's Grill to celebrate our 35th anniversary and had a wonderful time. The service was exceptional and the staff friendly. Their menu offers a broad range of choices with offerings that would allow the budget conscious to enjoy a little fine dinning without breaking the bank. Great selection of moderately priced wines including some interesting varietals. There were a few gems on the wine list including a 2008 Col Solare (first class red blend) for $76 which is only $6 more than what I paid at the winery. The atmosphere is what one would expect for a placed located at the back end of a rather large outdoor mall, but it was pleasant and quiet. We would definitely go back.

I was very disappointed at the lunch menu. The restaurant used to offer both surf and turf selections, but not being a fish eater of any kind, nor pasta or cheese, I was relegated to either a turkey sandwich, burger or steak skewers (with some fancy sauce that didn't sound good.) My burger was cooked properly, and was good, but I think the name of the restaurant should indicate that it's a seafood restaurant and if you don't like that you'll be disappointed.

This was my first time dining at a McCormick & Schmicks and I was really disappointed. The food was okay but not for the prices. The waitress was nice but constantly ignoring us. If we dared to ask a question that she thought was taking her time away, she made a face that made it clear that we were just an annoyance. She was moving all around us and not even looking at us despite being flagged. The building is nice but the lamp at the table was covered in dust and even a spider web.... which I could have handled better if the lamp wasn't so short and right there below eye level. The manager (?), tried to help make it better but it was too late. I was so happy to leave! Not a great mothers day! Still have money on a gift card, won't be back.

Thrilled with our first meal at this M&S Grill in Bridgeport Village. Sat at the bar for a short wait and was very impressed by the generous liquor pour in both of our glasses. Win! We secured a great booth but then again, the restaurant is full of great booths! Win! Service was professional and attentive without being obtrusive. Win! And the food was as good as hoped. Win! Can't wait to go back :)

Food is true...Love seafood and many places say they are serving ling cod, local, but in reality not, it is usually true cod, MS grill was authentic. Just wish they served baked potatoes and had different pasta choice (they only serve linguini). Tried their steamer clam appetizer, so good..served in sauce w a bite to it. Also split a salad and they were more than willing to divide salad for us...it was huge, just should have asked for dressing on side as it was a bit dry. Cost..about 30.00 dollars/person for dinner but, I really feel you get what you pay for.

  • Elegant Easter Brunch it was not!

    Dined on 4/20/2014
It was an 8-9 item menu brunch, not a buffet. It did not advertise it as a menu brunch. The item we each chose looked lost on the dinner plate. The portion sizes for each of the 3 elements of our choice (eggs Benedict) were the smallest we have ever had at any restaurant. We were very disappointed with the whole experience, especially since it was Easter and we had thought we had made a great choice of restaurant. I don't believe we will ever return.

Our server seemed distracted and our 1/2 of our orders were wrong when they came out. However, the manager quickly intervened and we got the right food in a short period of time. It was a bit distracting as two people got the right food and the other two didn't so it was awkward until their food came out. It's the first time we have had this issue so I'm hoping it was just an off night for her.

Everything was at its best today. I had my favorite waitperson, Lee, and she didn't disappoint. She was great! The food was tops. I had the soup, sour dough bread, tenderloin medallions and sautéed prawns, and dessert special. It was done just to my liking. The sautéed prawns weren't served just in butter like in most places, but were sautéed in a garlic sauce.

The drinks were good and I was impressed that they were able to put us into a booth as I had requested. We didn't have to wait long, ten minutes, to be seated since we had a reservation. I'm happy that we had a gift card and didn't end up dropping all of our own money on this place though because the waiter was slow, the portions were too small, the food was bland and the prices were ridiculously over priced. I should have checked the reviews on the web before making the trip all the way to Tigard, it seems that several other people have felt the same way.

I've been to McCormick's several times over the years. This meal was very mediocre. I had the mahi mahi from the new Spring menu with some sort of glaze that was just slathered over the top of the fish; more like plopped on the top of the fish. The "spring vegetables" were carrots, peas and some boiled white onions - - completely tasteless. You couldn't have served asparagus?? The presentation was unappealing. You guys can do much better. Thanks heavens our server, Barb, was just lovely.

The Oregon themed glass dome was spectacular and the similarly themed artwork throughout was an entertaining and a thoughtful collection. The overall layout and immediate appearance upon entering were both very nice, comfortable and human, even if somewhat grandiose. Overall the ambience was very appealing and more than expected. The server was prompt, though overworked, and quite knowledgeable. Other staff were communicative and personable. The prices were fair and not unexpected. The food was well prepared, both visually appealing and very tasty. Very well done, a bravo!
