Been here a number of times. The view across the bay to Marin all the way around to Berkeley is great. Prices for most entrees are ~$18 to $30+ range. Petrale sole was OK. I would try other dishes before reordering it. Fish and chips was actually pretty good.

Even though I'm a local, it's a pleasure to come to tourist spot Ghirardelli Square for a meal here. Happy hour is the best, however, if coming to this pricey restaurant for the first time. Join their Landry's club for $25 and get $25 off your next visit. Earn points for future discounts.

My goodness! From the open table reservation option (always easy!) to the greeter, to our wonderful server, Henry, to the fabulous view and even more fabulous food, this restaurant cannot be beat! The prices were about the same as most places of this caliber, but the location right in Ghiradelli Square in San Francisco was convenient. Make a reservation! The place is huge, and for our last evening in SF, they escorted us to a very secluded-seeming table, even though the place was crowded, the placement of the tables made it seem very private. I highly recommend this place!

We visited as a group of five in the family with ages mostly in the teens. View of SF Bay was amazing as we were seated right by the windows. Michael was our waiter and made the experience a great and memorable one. Menu includes a lot of options and I have never been disappointed with the food quality coming from other McCormick's I have visited and McCormick and Kuleto was no exception. Delivery of food was timely, Michael was very knowledgeable about all things on the menu and even gave us a recommendation for the dessert we had planned nearby at Ghiradelli. Definitely a great experience dining in San Francisco.

I have been to this restaurant several times over the and 10 years and always remembered it for the outstanding food. I can no longer say it is memorable. The Calamari appetizer used to be outstanding, crisp and plentiful and now it is soggy small mess with chilies thrown in. We ate there Thursday night and it is now Sunday and I cant really remember what I had for a main meal. I do remember the cheesecake two of use shared for desert - it was billed as a NY Cheesecake but I would say it came from a Betty Crocker recipe book from the 60's! Our waiter was great though and the view is nice!

My boyfriend and I dined here for the first time on a Tuesday night. The menu honestly did not blow us away, so we ordered a variety of appetizers/sides to create a meal. The first item, calamari was great, as was the complementary bread. We ordered single drinks to start as we dined window-side, watching the sun set. All of this gave us the impression that dinner would be great. Unfortunately, things were not as wonderful as anticipated. Food took about an hour to arrive! While we waited empty-handed and had finished our drinks, the bottle of wine we ordered at the beginning did not arrive until maybe 10 minutes before the food. We did get comp. wine for the long wait, but overall, the experience left a meh taste in our mouths.

We were celebrating our anniversary and had a reservation at 8:30 PM. We were not seated until 10:00 PM. Many people who did not have reservations were seated ahead of us. Our Anniversary celebration was ruined by the managements very poor customer service. We were not compensated for their extremely poor customer service. We do not recommend this restaurant and will never go to this restaurant again. We will be going to another area restaurant this evening to enjoy the Bat Areas excellent seafood.

Our dinner was so great! It was packed when we got there (7:15pm reservation Saturday night in August) so we had to wait about 15 min, but once we were seated everything went perfectly. We had an outstanding table with beautiful views of the bay. They had a variety of creative and delicious cocktails. Our waitress was so nice and also professional. I got the dungeness crab with pasta (strazopretza?) and loved it. Everyone at our table liked their food including our two chidren aged 8 and 11. The restaurant is loud which to me is better for kids than a more quiet restaurant, but it is still not totally casual (i.e. t shirts and shorts are not the norm). Overall the four of us had an outstanding memorable experience.

we have been here twice recently. both times were mediocre. the scallops were bland and the kale was tough and added nothing. the last time we were there (last weekend) the scampi was bland and i had to wait for the staff the add more garlic so my dinner companions were finished when my dinner arrived. i sent it back pretty much untouched.

We always take visitors to them for lunch or diner because they prepare foods outstandingly. Linguini and clams perfect in a very light sauce, not the cream and butter fat pill you get elsewhere. Great service by pleasant wait staff as usual. The view is fantastic for watching Polar Bear Club swimmers, the three masted ship tied to the dock. Banana cream pie is fantastic!

This was our last night in SF and we wanted our vacation to end on a high note. This was a lovely restaurant with a beautiful view of the bay, the beach, Alcatraz and the setting sun. The food matched the view. Everything was delicious. We started with oysters and our party had halibut, ahi tuna and scallops for entrees. We each loved our own entree so we had to share with each other and it was hard to decide who had the best meal. We also shared a dessert, the perfect end to a beautiful meal. By the way our waiter was excellent and helped to make our evening a memorable one.

M&K has always been a favorite for seafood. It's always fresh and cooked well. The presentation is a little different from years past and the service is not as stellar, but still very good. It's always a beautiful and clean restaurant with good parking and a beautiful view. We took 2 teenagers for a birthday lunch and included that in my booking information. They treated the boys well but I was slightly disappointed that they didn't take the time to point out his birthday. Can't beat the fresh fish.

The restaurant looks very nice and the location is very good (unless fog covers the harbor). The starter was nice but the main, however, was not so special. We had better meals during our stay in SF. The service was also average, our waiter basicly recomended the full menu and the wine pairing seemed random (or higher price).

We had planned this as a special dinner while vacationing in SF, and everything was going great up to about the appetizer getting to our table. Then the wait began. We were having a good time talking and planning out our next day, we didn't really register how long it had been until about 30 minutes clicked by....then 45....finally, a different waiter comes by and tells us the kitchen is backed up (which seems strange, as by now, the place is half empty and people who arrived after us are having dessert). A bit later, the manager comes by to apologize and tells us items will be removed from our bill. One hour, the food comes. TBC, the food is fantastic; everyone loved their selections. About 1/2 our bill was comped due to the delay.

Whenever we are in San Francisco my wife and I make it a point to have at least one dinner at McCormick & Kuleto's. We find the view, food and ambiance to be very enjoyable. We typically have the Halibut when we dine at M & K. In our most recent visit while the view and ambiance was outstanding we found the food just average. The presentation was very nice but we found our grilled Halibut to be somewhat overcooked making it a bit dry. That is not typical for this restaurant so I will chalk it up to an off night and we will try it again during our next visit.
