Mazza - 9th and 9thOn our first visit to Mazza,On our first visit to Mazza, the food was stellar and the service was fantastic. The waitress walked us through the popular dishes and was very friendly. At the end of the meal the very capable store manager recommended the house made Baklawa. It was amazing! Our waiter, Lance, was very nice, and he was helpful when we asked questions about the menu. The only problem was how long we had to wait to order dinner, order dessert and get our check. It was a Friday night and the restaurant slowly filled, but we waited for our check for almost ten minutes. The atmosphere at this place is really nice, but the tables are too close together. Right before we ordered dessert, a pair of ladies were sat next to us, and it was like my date with my husband suddenly became a foursome; my advice is go early, before the place is busy, so you don't have to rub elbows w/strangers.3/29/2013 12:00:00 AMOne of our SLC restaurant staples!Everything was wonderful and our birthday girl loved it.
