I chose it because I have a high regard for Chef Ramsey and since it was my birthday I wanted to celebrate there. The staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly, our server was incredibly attentive and once he found out it was my birthday he had other members of staff present me with a special birthday sherbet. The food was to die for, I started with the sea scallops followed by the risotto. Both of which were prepared and served to perfection. The best was at the end of our dining experience when we were offered a tour of the kitchen! Spectacular experience I'll never forget. Even though it was quite busy there was still low noise level, which was great. The food, oh my, the food was excellent. My partner and I had the tasting plate each. We didnt leave a crumb behind. The portions were bigger then I expected. But overall I definitely would recommend maze to anyone. The Maze was our best bet and it was worth it. The ambience was unusual and very classy. The service was top class. The atmosphere was calm and enjoyable. The food was delicious, tasty and just enough portion size. Enough room for the best dessert in town. One guest had wine which she described as warm and smokey and she had never tasted anything so good! We came to The Maze happy and left even happier with some lovely memories! When arriving, each table had a small gift bag on it with a gift for Mom since it was Mother's Day. We had the Prix Fix Theatre Menu so the meal was affordable. It was so good, we might save up to splurge on the Gordon Ramsey the next time. Know that the marks on a grilled meat should not be burned but of caramel color: maillard reaction we call it.

Me and my fiancé ordered the 3 course price fixed dinner, ( $44 per person only offered from 5-6:30) and were very satisfied and definitely full. I had read reviews that the portions were too small but I did not feel that way at all. The dessert was amazing. We both chose the chocolate fondant with almond Ice cream. Definitely recommend that. Overall a great experience. The ambiance is trendy, the service is friendly and knowledgeable. The food is beyond compare. I cook a lot and can not even guess what is in some of the dishes or how someone actually figured out that one ingredient would go well combined with another. I chose this place because my wife was more enamoredwith Mr. Gordan Ramsay than she is with me these days!. None-the- less, we had a beautiful time. My wife and I both loved the food; desert and the wine. The host and servers were especially kind and pleasant. They even showed us around the kitchen-- when my wife really thought she was going to meet Mr. Ramsey as a "special" Anniversary gift. However she soon found out that there really was no surprise of that kind--but still meeting everyone in the kitchen really made her happy. It was the highlight of the entire evening, she had mentioned.

The atmosphere was very nice as well the only thing that surprised us was that the maitre could not remember who ordered what. There was only the 3 of us and even with couples of 2 he should be able to remember what people ordered. The waiters left a very good impression, well trained, enjoyable, friendly.
