Resturant was mediocre at best. Ambiance and food so so. Staff not very helpful with food selections. Came off as an ordinary hotel restaurant rather than a Gordon Ramsey. Plenty of much better restaurants in NY.

We are huge fans of Gordon Ramsay and were anxious to dine in one of his restaurants. The beef wellington was so good --- first time I've ever had it -- and i can see why he features it. This was my birthday weekend dinner celebration and it was the Best!!!! All the food was incredible. The risotto was extremely good as well.

I understand this is a Gordon Ramsay restaurant in name only. Years ago we were at the Gordon Ramsay at the London and it was very good. Since we're staying at the hotel, decided to try Maze despite the lack of real Ramsay connection. The food is really quite good, and the price is excellent. The pre-theatre menu is particularly good value, but even a la carte is quite well-priced. Service is adequate, but non-inspiring. The place was packed, so it was quite noisy, but Maze never pretended to be a fine-dining snooty joint. Heck, you can even order a burger if you like. So overall, not bad at all. Would not mind returning.

We reserved for a late Saturday lunch to find that we could only order from the very limited brunch menu. Perhaps it was my fault for not seeing lunch was not available on the difficult to navigate website. Others in my party said they had no idea what menu was being offered. But my complaint does not fully lie there...The restaurant was nearly empty and my party of four was seated right next to the double doored kitchen. After asking, we were moved but why give a mediocre table when unnecessary? The brunch menu was lame: my duck confit hash was a pile of grease and my husband's fish could have been a piece of nigiri! Dear chef Ramsay, how can you be satisfied with such a lack of quality and customer experience?

My steak was cooked to perfection and would rival many of the top steak houses in the City. My crab cake starter was also excellent. The only issue I had was slow service. Even after specifying that we needed to leave by a certain time for the theatre our food arrived at eight minutes before that time. The apologies were many however some sort of discount should have been offered for a half-eaten steak and half-eaten lobster!

I am a big fan of Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen nightmares and Masterchef. I guess I was expecting to have my socks blown off. Instead we ordered 5 dishes and sent back 1. The heirloom carrots were cold and tasteless. They had been in the fridge for a good many hours and the carrots tasted no different to the avocado on the plate with no dressing. The duck confit tater tots were just plain potato tater tots with chunks of duck meat in it. We thought we were going to get potato & duck confit mix. They were also a tad on the cold side. The steak was the best thing we had, this steak was perfectly done and we were very happy with it. Also the fish and chips were good too. The brussel sprout sides were not crispy at all, they were soggy and awful (the menu states: "Crispy Brussel Sprouts"). Overall, after watching the show, I expected everything to be perfect, it was a let down. I know Gordon Ramsey didnt make my meal but, I'd like more attention to detail and to be more in line to what the menu states.

Delicious!!! Dinner Prix Fix menu for $42 was a great deal. The 3 of us ordered the grilled watermelon salad, tuna tartar and an onion soup (can't remember the fancy name) for our 1st course. For 2nd course, all 3 of us ordered the pan seared black bass...crispy and the flavor was spot on. For 3rd course, we ordered both dessert options - a chocolate and an apple dish - both were dedacant and not too sweet. Everything tasted great. The only not so positive comment I have is the prix fix menu selection was a little limited.

My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary here an although the food was excellent, the service was abysmal. Our waiter took our order and then disappeared for the entire meal. We had to flag someone down for more coffee and water and no one checked to see if we needed anything after our meals arrived. We looked around and saw that we were not the only ones who were annoyed and neglected. It took about 15 mins to find someone who would provide us with our check. When I went up to get our coats I asked the hostess if they were extremely short staffed today. She apologized and said that because the staff is unionized they don't seem to want to work because it was very difficult to fire them. I wouldn't think that Gordan Ramsay would put up with that but I guess this restaurant is his in name only. Very disappointed since I've been to a couple of his other restaurants in Vegas and they have been amazing. Personally, I'd suggest you choose a different restaurant to spend your money.

Dined here for our first wedding anniversary, specifically staying at the London hotel because of the restaurant. Wanted a romantic/intimate setting, requested a booth we were placed across from each other one in long booth and one in a chair with a loud group right next to us. There was not one mention on Gordan Ramsay by the staff or on the menu. Staff was slow and not inviting. We just went to his steakhouse in Las Vegas which was spectacular in terms of service and food and this place did not come close to matching that caliber. We got the beef Wellington ( which did not take 45 minutes as it should) but was delicious

I guess Gordon Ramsay must be franchising his name these days. This restaurant was "fine" for a hotel restaurant…like a standard Holiday Inn or Best Western restaurant. But it is most certainly not a fine dining experience--and not for the food, which was "fine." But the service was utterly lackluster. Won't be going back. Ever.

I had the chef's tasting menu as I found the regular menu to be quite limited. Everything was delicious, well presented and served in an unhurried yet reasonable timeframe. The service was perfect. The bar scene was very vibrant and as such it was quite noisy in the dining room. This was magnified by the fact that I was seated next to two women with a newborn but at the same time, I liked the unpretentious atmosphere. I would most definitely return.

I will start by saying that the restaurant is very nice inside. The ambiance was quite nice and the service was superior. The food on the other hand I can honestly say was about as good as you would get at the Olive Garden. The menu is either a la cart or you have a chef selection which must be ordered by the whole table or no one can have it. The food....Let me start with the risotto. This was probably the best part of the meal. It was creamy and delicious. I ordered the NY Strip and it was ok (a little dry and no taste to it). The sides were really good. The rest of my table ordered the lobster (came with chickpeas) and it was bland. Over priced for what we paid for. Next time I might try Bobby Flays.

I had no expectations since I had read mixed reviews. I had the scallop appetizer, and as my wife and I discussed, we have equally if not better prepared scallops at some incredible LBI, NJ restaurants in the summer and a much more reasonable price point. The Wellington for 2 was very good, and the servers were very attentitve. Just nothing Special to write about.

I had scallops and New York strip. Both were fine but nothing special. I've had better scallops in far less prestigious restaurants. The beef was fine but not excellent. Slightly overcooked actually. My wife had crab cake which was very nice and chicken, that was ok but not special in any way. The dining room is very noisy, people wearing sneakers, small children walking arround. For this price I would have expected more like an amuse perhaps? Nothing like that.. It was all fine but not more than that so not worth the price I paid.

A pretty restaurant with great service and a wonderful sommalier (William). Our appetizers- crab cake and kale cesar salad- were both outstanding. The NY State breast of chicken was tasty- although the accompanying onion rings were made with very strong onions and we couldn't enjoy them. The Cod "Fish and Chips" was the biggest disappointment. Beautiful white fish- flavourless. The batter, supposedly made with English stout- was also flavourless. The meal was served in a cooking pan- with the mushy and equally tasteless fries underneath the fish. I was so disappointed. And a little surprised that the waiter didn't comment on why the meal was barely touched. Dessert was a green apple inspired trio of lovely and light treats.
