I had the chef's tasting menu as I found the regular menu to be quite limited. Everything was delicious, well presented and served in an unhurried yet reasonable timeframe. The service was perfect. The bar scene was very vibrant and as such it was quite noisy in the dining room. This was magnified by the fact that I was seated next to two women with a newborn but at the same time, I liked the unpretentious atmosphere. I would most definitely return.

For my daughters 20-something birthday, her uncle and I took her to Maze. We could not have been more pleased with the great, attentive staff (though not overly so). We were able to take our time in ordering from a delightful menu. Our food was cooked to perfection and could not have tasted better. Thank you Maze for a great dining experience.

Went with a friend on a Sunday night for the 5 course tasting.. it was everything we expected and more! THe food was amazing.. we're foodies so we love trying everything but may be a little more risque for people who aren't as liberal. Still.. enough options for everyone!

The menu choices was so limited that my wife and I had to flip a coin on which undesirable choice to make. A taste of the chef's choice was more of the menu again and forced on all people at the table or none. Gordon you need to have Restaurant Rescue come help you with your Maze location.

Much toy suprise, the food served here was sub-par. Definitly not worth the price. The ambiance however, was nice, and it was interesting to go to a restaraunt that that carried the Gordon Ramsay name. With that being said, I wouldn't go out of my way to go.

I will start by saying that the restaurant is very nice inside. The ambiance was quite nice and the service was superior. The food on the other hand I can honestly say was about as good as you would get at the Olive Garden. The menu is either a la cart or you have a chef selection which must be ordered by the whole table or no one can have it. The food....Let me start with the risotto. This was probably the best part of the meal. It was creamy and delicious. I ordered the NY Strip and it was ok (a little dry and no taste to it). The sides were really good. The rest of my table ordered the lobster (came with chickpeas) and it was bland. Over priced for what we paid for. Next time I might try Bobby Flays.

I had no expectations since I had read mixed reviews. I had the scallop appetizer, and as my wife and I discussed, we have equally if not better prepared scallops at some incredible LBI, NJ restaurants in the summer and a much more reasonable price point. The Wellington for 2 was very good, and the servers were very attentitve. Just nothing Special to write about.

We only go to NYC once a year to see a show so we always try to hit the celebrity restaurants to check out the hype. The food was delicious, nothing fancy just good food and responsibly priced. We didn't see much of the waiter but I prefer to do my thing and if I need something I will get the waiter.

I had scallops and New York strip. Both were fine but nothing special. I've had better scallops in far less prestigious restaurants. The beef was fine but not excellent. Slightly overcooked actually. My wife had crab cake which was very nice and chicken, that was ok but not special in any way. The dining room is very noisy, people wearing sneakers, small children walking arround. For this price I would have expected more like an amuse perhaps? Nothing like that.. It was all fine but not more than that so not worth the price I paid.

A pretty restaurant with great service and a wonderful sommalier (William). Our appetizers- crab cake and kale cesar salad- were both outstanding. The NY State breast of chicken was tasty- although the accompanying onion rings were made with very strong onions and we couldn't enjoy them. The Cod "Fish and Chips" was the biggest disappointment. Beautiful white fish- flavourless. The batter, supposedly made with English stout- was also flavourless. The meal was served in a cooking pan- with the mushy and equally tasteless fries underneath the fish. I was so disappointed. And a little surprised that the waiter didn't comment on why the meal was barely touched. Dessert was a green apple inspired trio of lovely and light treats.

Well, the crispy brussel sprouts weren't crispy... the spicy crab toast wasn't toasted... the soup was luke warm... etc. It all tasted good, but I'd like to have seen a little more attention paid to the food. I've eaten better versions of every dish elsewhere, but overall I wasn't disappointed. Would I go back? Probably not... Do I regret going once? No.

We had arrived early for our 1 o'clock reservation and decided to have a drink. Twenty minutes of waiting and our dribk order still was not taken. So we ordered at the bar. Waited another 15 for a coffee, my cocktail was great though. Once seated for lunch we were handed a brunch menu different than every one else seated at the time and were given 3 minutes before rushed to order. My guest received FROZEN fries, I guess they thought we wouldn't know the difference. However, my risotto was delicious. Chef ramsey needs to kitchen nightmare this restaurant. Staff should not be treating guests in this manner.

My hubby planned a 40th surprise birthday trip for me to NYC. I am a huge fan of Gordon Ramsay's so naturally he took me to his restaurant. I must say, it was an unbelievable experience! The food was out of this world, I didn't want to stop eating. Scallops and crabcakes for appetizers, delicious, butter melting in your mouth. We then ordered the Beef Wellington (for 2) with two sides, the cauliflower and the mushrooms. The beef wellington, of course, was the star, but the sides were very delicious too. The wellington, well there are no words to describe it, it was that good. I've have never experienced such good food. Dessert, awesome! The service and food, everything I expected and more from a Ramsay establishment. I cant say enough.

It's a shame that such wonderful food is wasted on a restaurant that has a terrible atmosphere - all loud, hard surfaces - and staff was indifferent and delivered terrible service. Although everyone who came in asked for a booth, all were denied. The booths remained empty the entire time I was in the restaurant. Instead, all the diners were bunched up in tiny tables where we were practically sitting on each other's laps. This restaurant should consider take out - sadly the only thing worthwhile was the food, but it was not good enough to overcome the space and rude service.

Having been to Gordon Ramsay restaurants in the UK, and been amazing at the execution, I had high hopes. Maze does well, but is a peg or two down from his other efforts. A great Kale salad, good wine, but the overall execution and the waitstaff fell short of my high expectations.

Heard about Gordon Ramsay's beef Wellington so went to try it on our wedding anniversary. The atmosphere of the restaurant was good, service was good too. We started with two special cocktails. Then we had scallop and tuna tartar as appetizers. The tartar was a bit salty, scallop was great. Then we have beef Wellington (for 2). Again, it was good, beef was tender, went great with mushroom sauce inside and the portion was big enough. My wife loved the dessert, chocolate decadence. It was a special occasion for us to travel far to New York City's famous restaurant of Gordon Ramsay. Everything was good but for his name and over $200 bill I expect more than that.

My wife and I are used to look for great dinning experiences. You would expect no less from Maze holding the name of GR, but we were not amazed at all. Hard time trying to understand english from any of the waiters. Service was completely poor for what you might expect. Food was actually good, is really well executed, not so much creative but well presented. There were a few options of wines by the glass, the Pinot seemed a low range for 20 a glass. Im glad to have tried it, but dont think I'll come back on the next trip to NY.is trendy and nice, little overpriced that relies too much in the GR name. Overall experience under the expectation for a 250 check. Im glad to have tried but dont think I'll come back on the next trip to NY.

Dining at Maze was truly a wonderful experience from the welcome to service to food! We ordered the chef tasting menu (5 course)and requested a wine pairing. Each course was beautifully presented (visually & described) & absolutely delicious. The ingredients were fresh, and flavours delightful. The portions were generous & we were quite full. The sommelier did a fantastic job at pairing the wines to each course. I must comment on the impeccable service. The servers & sommelier had a great sense of timing, they were attentive, knowledgable & professional. A perfect meal & experience to remember.
