Mayfield Bakery & Cafelemme be a regular at MayfieldI love lunching at Mayfield...the food is very fresh...I usually try the "Farmer's Menu" which is a 3 course lunch...a soup (oh, yummy turnip) or a salad, a main course (delish zucchini rigatoni) and chocolate chip cookie for dessert...I LOVE that cookie. Unfortunately, the special was out for the evening (need to arrive by 7-ish to make sure they still have it, as they are very popular), so we had the steak and the chicken. Both meals were excellent, very flavorful. Our waiter was very helpful and checked on us without being intrusive. He was also helpful in making suggestions for the meal, and his choices were right on. Also tried the beignets for dessert, which was an excellent cap for the meal. Love the Village Pub and Spruce, Mayfield does a good job of offering a great business or personal feel in the hustle of town and country. Definitely a notch above the only competition Scott's Seafood.
