If you want a food review, I can't give it. That's because we left 15 minutes after being seated. There were only two other parties at the restaurant but still no one came over.... and I mean no one... during that time. So, we walked out. They didn't seem to care either. At least no one asked us why we were leaving. Well, we also noticed after we left that the place is right next door to a funeral home. Need I say more. (Disregard the food rating. Open Table required one to submit a review.)

The restaurant was so understaffed that the chef was bringing out orders. Our meal took 90 minutes to complete for two adults and one child. At times, I felt like we were just a bother and some staff just looked past us as we left, no thanks yous. The food was fine but I cannot ever see returning based on how we were treated. Ownership must see that the restaurant is staffed correctly so they can do their jobs.

what a wonderful addition to the neighborhood! Chef Emily (who was on season 2 of top chef) came out to greet us on a number of occasions & to ask our thoughts on the food- which was delish! I ordered the tomato soup w/ grilled cheese croutons for my ap, and shepherds pie for my entree.. both were savory and amazing. The presentation was just spot on. Also they saved us from having an applebees in the neighborhood!! come out to support their new endeavor!!

We had a great time and excellent meal at Mayfair & Pine. We had two families (4 adults and 4 kids total) and they were very accommodating. The scallops, shepherd's pie, and pork chop were all good and the kids enjoyed their meals too. It is a cute place too. Recommend!

Overall, was not impressed with Mayfair and Pine for brunch. Expected something a little "different" given their nod to the Brits. They were "low" on Bangers, and would not serve me as a side dish. I presume they were holding for their dishes where it was integrated. Otherwise, when we were there, the place was more or less empty for an early brunch. The waitress wanted to rush us through, and despite the minimal attendance was not handy to get extras (sugar, milk, etc.) from. Overall, the food was good, but nothing that was standout.

  • Nothing Special at all

Ordinary food. Nothing special. A disappointment as we had high hopes. Fish in fish and chips seemed fishy. Onion tart was small and not especially flavorful. Ordered as a main course, it also came out to table well after all other dishes were half or more eaten. Birthday girl was hungry and had nothing to eat when everyone else did. Then, no apology. Oh well.
