Please call the restaurant directly if it you are having any trouble making a particular reservation. We only reserve about 50% of our available seats to accommodate walk-ins so chances are, if you do not see your preferred time or size of party here, we can accommodate you if you call us directly.

Please note, in order to accommodate all of our guests who are waiting to be seated, we are only able to seat your party once everyone in the party has arrived.

Then after questioning why others were being seated before us, the hostess finally sat us. Not the gentlemen we were waiting for. This was totally confusing since this gentlemen was now where to be found. The quality of the food was good. It was better in the past. We waited a long time for our entrees and filled up on chips and salsa so when our food came we were all full. I wrote on the reservation it was a special occasion, my friends birthday. This is the second time I did this for a friend and no one ever acknowledged it. This place needs more traing with it's staff as it seemed very confusing waiting on our seating"

  • "We are big fans and come often. The weather was so good that we decided we just had to eat outside in the patio. Well, ok, no reservations for outdoor dining. But why make us wait standing while one group lingers over their check while there are several open tables capable of seating us. Usually Maya's staff are smart About these things. Sunday's host/hostess combo were pretty much over their head, just looking at each other with bewilderment and not much resourcefulness. The food was great as usual and the wait service was also good."

The order was not correct; my guest was rain-soaked and freezing (the valet did not umbrella him), and then the doggie bags were mixed up. I don't know if it was our table or not, but the noise was so loud that we could not hear each other talk."

  • "We went for our anniversary--gold card members get a $50.00 drinks credit. Maya del Sol seems not to be able to keep servers. Ours was there for only 3 weeks and got our order wrong. My wife ate her meal while I waited 20 minutes for my entree to come out. While I was waiting, the same server apologized to three other tables, and one table just got up and left. A free dessert doesn't cut it any more. This is the fourth time we've had very spotty service here--no more."

He helped us select courses for dinner that we probably wouldn't have chosen on our own; both the lamb and the wine he suggested were delicious. It is wonderful to find a waiter who really cares about the food created in his or her restaurant, and considers both the entrée and the customer, when making suggestions."

The friends we brought, who'd never been here before, talked about what a gem it is and how outstanding all the food and drinks were. All true! Collectively, we ordered the mussels, two different ceviches, the carne asada, plantains, flan and the tres leches cake, accompanied by the classic mojito, the white sangria and the el pepinito. Delicious, start to finish. We would have loved to order everything on the menu!"

  • "Drinks were delicious. Food was excellent. One of our four ordered the pork tenderloin special medium rare. She mentioned half way through that it really more medium. She said it was just fine though and was good. I mentioned to the waiter just so he could let the kitchen know. She told him it did not need to be replaced. But shortly later a manager type came over and again offered to replace it and really almost insisted. She agreed. He said he would make it a little more on rare side because he understood at this point that most of it would be going home. It came out perfect. Some medium rare and some rare which met the situation perfectly. Again we did not think it necessary, but they went above and beyond. "

  • "I found the ambiance & service here to be fine. We were happy to be offered outdoor seating. I loved the drinks-pepinito(?)-with cucumber- and that the margaritas are served 'up'. However, the food fell a bit short of what I expected. To their credit, it was served hot, presented well, and was true to descriptions- the flavors were just not to my taste. I thought the beef nachos could have been good, but the meat had a clinging, sweet-flavor. The fish tacos were our best selection-battered cod; pretty standard. I did not care for the steak; sides ok. We had 3 drinks, 3 entrees, 1 appetizer and no dessert/coffee. Bill was around $120. After a 20% tip (the server was fine and friendly) I just felt I would rather spend that amount elsewhere."
