"One of the very best (and consistent) restaurants in Boca. Plus, you simply can not beat the location. Mizner offers a beautiful setting for out-door dining, a lively bar for happy hour and a vibrant indoor dining experience. The service is always great and the food it imaginative. Brunch is great way to experience Max's without the usual crowds."

"I have to say it was sad to see such a staple in this condition. Granted it was a holiday, but the hostesses were telling incomers that there table was ready, but the kitchen is backed up so there would be a wait to sit down. We were late and we did wait, which was fine. The hostesses were gracious and accommodating. The food was the big disappointment. It was fine, but forgettable. Sad to see in such a staple of our area. I wish them only good things and truly hope they revive the Max's fare of days gone by. Godspeed"

"My friends and I all had a Cobb salad and found it decent but uninspiring. A real traditional Cobb is served with the condiments all separated when served at which time the customer mixes everything together. This was a pile of greens (on the warm side) with the salad pre-mixed with a mediocre mix of ingredients. I've eaten at Max's before and this salad was very disappointing."

"Awesome dining experience. Always excellent, fresh food and great service. Fish of the day is the best! Swordfish is the tastiest I have had. Great outdoor dining area with beautiful scenery in Mizner Park. Large booths that are comfy too. This is our go to place to eat."

"We enjoyed the outdoor patio at Max's. One slight hitch was that we sat in the sun for a while until someone from our party found an unused umbrella, dragged it over and set it up over our table. Then it was perfectly pleasant. Our waitress never noticed or acknowledged our discomfort or ensuing umbrella dragging. Other than that, the ambience was lively and the food was good."

"We had the 3 course special with wine. It was a great deal. I would go to MAX's over any restaurant in the area whether or not there is a special because it is unsurpassed for ambiance outside, service, menu choices and quality of food."

"Wonderful service and a great venue: we had outdoor seating in the shade. Max's, though, should change up its food offerings. We got the same (complimentary) tired chips and hummus Max's has served for years; the salads (one was salmon, the other, chicken) were good but not outstanding. I think the choice of greens could be better. A very good experience but the food isn't up to the standards of nearby competitors: Villagio, Rack's, Truluck's, or even the Dubliner--not by a long shot."
