The interior is casual but a tiny bit worn -the seats next to us had holes in them. The service was good and attentive but not very well informed. The young lady serving us was confused when I asked if the pizza oven was wood burning. We had the duck breast special which was very good and the short ribs which were very salty. It wasn't a bad experience but not memorable enough to return.

This place was great. The outside seating is really pretty. The only annoying thing wasn’t flies outside but it’s not too bad

Had the most amazing duck pâté, served with crusty bread and pickles. A meal in itself! We also shared a delicious water melon salad and for the main course shared a squid ink seafood pasta! truly a memorable meal! I come here often when I have visitors and want to impress them with a really good neighborhood restaurant. Once again I was impressed how consistent the quality of the food is and this time around even tasted some delightful new surprises!

I came here on a Saturday night with a girlfriend and my doggy. Although I had forgot to make my reservation for the patio, the hostess was able to accommodate us right away. Our server greeted us with a bowl of water for my dog and was totally accommodating. The service was fantastic, the food was great, and the ambiance is perfect for any occasion.

Although its reputation began with pizza, that was the most disappointing part of the meal. The rest was fine, and the patio was a quiet relief from the noisy interior.

We enjoyed our meal here very much. The website says plenty of street parking, well that depends on time of day and which day, but not too bad. The space has high ceilings, concrete floor, open kitchen, interesting lighting and a cool vibe. There is also a lovely outdoor patio where you can bring your dog! Mixed clientele, several couples with kids, mostly younger that us. Service was excellent. Food was very good and good. We had excellent burrata with toast, tonnato sauce on grilled octopus and greens, perfectly cooked salmon with a beurre blanc sauce and wonderful chocolate cake. The tagliatelle was very good, not great. We will definitely go back.

I hadn’t been to Maximiliano’s in a couple of years and this visit reminded me of why that was. Service was mediocre!
