Max Lager's Wood-Fired Grill & BreweryGreat food, so slowI went on a friends reccomendation during lunch. I have an hour for lunch during the week and was told that was sufficent time to eat and get back. An hour later I had taken 3 bites of my burger and eaten a few fries. I had to run back to my office with a take out box full of food. The service and kitchen were slow. Our server was not attentive despite the amount of time we waited and even though we had explained we were short on time after 30 minutes of sitting. Another table next to us had the same problem and after one of their guests left the manager came and spoke with them at length and apologize profusely. But, the food was delicious. Great dinner and service. Had one of their home-brews, the Oatmeal Mocha Stout, and it was awesome. Staff was friendly and courteous and treated us like regulars. Highly recommended if you want a can't miss dinner choice at an affordable price.5/1/2013 12:00:00 AMI made the right choice!Was in town for a conference and walked by Max Lagers on my way to there from my hotel. I asked the hotel clerk about Max Lagers and she told me I would not go wrong and suggested I do my desert "fried cheese cake" first! My wife did have an issue with her food and we were understanding. So understanding that the Manager comped our entire meal!!!
