Max Lager's Wood-Fired Grill & BreweryDelicious!We were in town visiting and tried Max Lagers. We were not disappointed. The filet was so tender & the garlic mashed potatoes were delicious. My boyfriend had the ribs and said they were the best he ever had. The atmosphere was great- not stuffy at all. Food and service were outstanding. Those woodfire pizzas are the bomb and big enough for 2 people. The only thing that could have made it better was a patio. There's no outdoor seating, so it was hard to be inside on a nice spring evening, but everything else about it was terrific. Great dinner and service. Had one of their home-brews, the Oatmeal Mocha Stout, and it was awesome. Staff was friendly and courteous and treated us like regulars. I asked the hotel clerk about Max Lagers and she told me I would not go wrong and suggested I do my desert "fried cheese cake" first! I went in for the beer and enjoyed a fantastic grilled pork chop, a couple of great beers and the "fried cheese cake". My wife did have an issue with her food and we were understanding. So understanding that the Manager comped our entire meal!!!
