"If I had to describe Max Lager's Wood-Fired Grill & Brewery in a sentence, I would say that Max Lager's has terrific service, amazing food and unmatched ambiance. We were visiting Atlanta for the first time and wanted a nice dining experience within a short walk from our hotel and our search led us to make a reservation at Max Lager's. We were promptly greeted and our server was very attentive, energetic and engaging. The food was awesome; good portions and flavor. I would definitely recommend and hope to visit again on a future trip to Atlanta."

"Great food, great beer. I took a large group to the restaurant while we were in town for a dental meeting. Everything from steaks to bison burgers was really tasty. Will definitely head back when in ATL. I'm a bit of a "beer snob", and I can assure you the beer was done right. The IPA was well hopped and the stout was nice and smooth."

"The menu and location were ideal for the whole family. Most menu choices are wood-fired, from fish to meat options. The kids menu is great too (try the ribs!). We hate an early dinner with another family (5:00pm on a Saturday) before an event at Philips Arena and Max Lager's was an ideal choice for the 8 of us (four kids ages 8-12). The noise was very low at that time of day. Our party had bison burgers, hamburgers, pork chops and ribs -- all delicious!! The home-brewed beer was terric too. Our servers were enthusiastic and attentive. We took advantage of the validated parking (only $3) and walked to Philips Arena from the restaurant. It took only 15 minutes and we walked past all the game-time traffic! We're going back."

"We dined at Max Lager's with our neighbors before a Hawks game. Four adults and four children. The service was excellent and the food was very good. Our server made several recommendations and we enjoyed all of them. We also enjoyed several of their brewed beers. Very good! Would definitely recommend!"
