Very loud restaurant, but didn't mind! Our server was amazing and gave us great suggestions on the wine list. (Long drive for us -- the Gaylord St neighborhood is very accessible if you are in Denver.). The seafood is off-the-boat fresh and wonderfully prepared. We got a great deal on a wonderful bottle of wine and again enjoyed being waited on by Chris. They have terrific specials that are real deals, although we have yet to be tempted away from the main menu. Desserts are beyond tempting. We generally go to Jax fish house, but we were pleasantly surprised when we discovered Max Gill & Grill. Feels like a vacation to the East Coast. It was lively, fun, & the food was delicious. Reasonably priced and quite a variety of seafood cooked to perfection. It's my family's favorite. Located in a charming neighborhood, the scene is upbeat, the wait staff attentive and the food superb. The waiter then brought him another on the house and that one was much better. He had the giant burrito andi had halibut for my amino course. Both were very good. I had ahi tuna and my husband had the wicked big burrito. All meals were excellent and we will definitely return.
