Overall, exceeded my expectations and will definitely go back!5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMFor the Chocoholic in all of usWe flat out love this place! My girls are all about chocolate, and finding a restaurant that looks at life through the same cocoa-colored glasses is perfect for them. Good beer menu for me aswell - everybody's happy!
This was a typical visit. Called them to let them know we were running late (graduation weekend traffic); they seated us right when we got there. Our waitress was training a new person; the interactions with both were seamless and just right. Note that when the staff recommends 1/2 of the chocolate pizza for 3 people, you should probably take the advice. Wow - good, but RICH!5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat, fun place! Only gotGreat, fun place! Only got desserts, & they're all unique choices. The dessert I ordered off the menu is actually no longer available, so they recreated it as best they could & gave me a discount, a very nice gesture! The only only drawback was that it was VERY noisy.5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMI had the burger which wasI had the burger which was very good. My husband had the turkey club also good. The drinks are amazing. If you can, ask for Ryan... Great outgoing bartender. We sat on the patio to eat and it's a great spot to get some sun and people watch. We both got egg white omelettes which were delicious. Leo was our server and also great... So friendly. Highly recommend brunch here!4/28/2013 12:00:00 AMFun brunchFood was very enjoyable and active, energetic scene made the experience very enjoyable for us, our college age kids and their boy friend ( visiting from Spain) and girlfriend. Great chocolate for dipping and food spiced perfectly.4/14/2013 12:00:00 AMChocolate, chocolate, chocolate.Chocolate, chocolate, chocolate. If chocolate isn't your thing, don't bother. But if it is, this is not to be missed. We went for Sunday brunch with two adults and two children. The kids selections were fun, whimsical and yummy; make your own hot chocolate, chocolate shakes, chocolate pancakes, chocolate crepes. For the grown ups the french toast and belgum waffles hit the spot. The chocolate martini was perfect. Our server, Julie, was enthusiastic and attentive. Will denfinitely hit this one again!4/14/2013 12:00:00 AMThe place, the food and evenThe place, the food and even the music is great!! I love the ambience and the service is always good! Everything was excellent, and the service was excellent.3/20/2013 12:00:00 AMA must do - at least once!We celebrated my 9 yr old son's birthday and it was a great time! The hot chocolate is to DIE for! As were the onion rings. We enjoyed the food, but the desserts were out of this world. You must try a shake once; my daughter thought that it was amazing.3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMThis resturant is perfectThis resturant is perfect for any chocolate lover. They have some of the best sweets around and some interesting takes on more savory foods as well. If you see a Max Brenner resturant in your neck of the woods or are visiting Boston, I recomend it highly. The chocolate pizzas alone are worth the trip!3/13/2013 12:00:00 AMThe best hashbrowns I've everThe best hashbrowns I've ever had and the biscuits are out of this world.1/19/2013 12:00:00 AMOther than the $5.95 hot chocolateOther than the $5.95 hot chocolate drinks, what's not to love about this place? They have amazing breakfast dishes that they smother in chocolate. I would come back here any time. This may be one of my favorite brunch places ever. That is all.12/9/2012 12:00:00 AMThis is a really interestingThis is a really interesting place, with more thoughtful handling of chocolate as an actual ingredient and not just a topping or add-on. The double chocolate pancakes at brunch were very good: excellent pancakes to begin with, and then a use of chocolate that added flavor and not just a candy-like sweetness. And the chocolate-espresso milkshake was surprisingly light and refreshing. The breakfast burrito and home fries (non-chocolate items) were probably the best of their kind we have had in Boston. Several of the items on the more extensive lunch menu sounded worth a try, too.11/16/2012 12:00:00 AM
