  • "Lunch time at Yonge and Bloor can be hectic, rushed and windy! Not so at Mamtisse. The service was friendly, the atmosphere quiet and the food was very nice. The Friday fish and chips were exceptional! A perfect place to be able to have a quiet conversation over lunch."

My flat iron steak was excellent. The appetizers and deserts were very tasty. Our servers were going through the motions but had no interest in their patrons."

  • "I had dinner here through Winterlicious and I have to say I couldn't be happier I chose this restaurant to go to. Although it would have been nice if the restaurant had more seating, the ambiance was very relaxed and enjoyable. Even though our table was small it still felt like we had more than enough room. The service was very good and each of our courses came in perfecting timing. The food was absolutely fantastic!! I had the Lentil entry and I couldn't get enough of it, I never imagined lentils could taste so good and be seasoned so perfectly. Just amazing!"

  • "Try the beet and radicchio salad there is something about the combination of toppings and the vinaigrette that is a must try item. Food portions are great, and food is cooked to perfection. It's a quiet spot which allows for conversation. Amazing spot must try if you are in the area!"

  • "Due to 'weather' we opted to have dinner in the hotel where we were staying, and were very pleasantly surprised by the Matisse. They offered a prix fixe Winterlicious menu that was varied and reasonable, and the full menu was interesting and diverse. The wine list hit all the big reds and the cocktail menu was quite extensive too. Bloody caesars were excellent as was the food, which was hot and savoury with great presentation. The only thing that would have improved the experience was slightly more attentive service-- to clear glasses and appetizer plates in a more timely fashion, and we had to flag down our waiter for the bill. We would definitely go back."
