  • "Steaks are delicious. We had a problem with our bone marrow app - it was so hard we couldn't even put a knife into it. They took it back and brought a new one and didn't charge us. I love the mac and cheese - delish! Restaurant is too NOISY. i guess it's intential otherwise, they would fix that issue. Don't come here if you want to have a conversation"

I was a wonderful experience and we can't wait to return. the noise level is low, the ambiance is romantic and relaxing, and the service is OUTSTANDING! Nick was our server and he took care of us so well that we only want him as our server when we return. Thank you Mastro's for making our experience one to remember!"

  • "You just can't find a better steak than at mastro's but if you are not in the mood for meat , fear not absolutely everything else from their cocktails to their bread, sides, fish, deserts down to their butter is excellent too. My tip is however not not to let your waiter pick for you unless money really is no object as you could leave with a $250 per head bill if you left it to them."

  • "Being handicapped first impression the 1/2 booth was a godsend for me. We arrived early before the noise level increased downstairs where we dined. The waiter Steve knew his kitchen which was extremely helpful for my parents who had lamb chops and bone in steak which were cooked to perfection. I only wish my guests had been told of the size of the appetizer, rather large salad, since I over heard others being told. The signature lobster mashed potatoes were divine as was my lobster so much so I didn't need, use or want the butter. I must say the surrounding support staff were fabulous and so attentive to all needs. The call the next day to check on us was just the last part of the E-ticket which sent me to the moon."

  • "We tried the BH location after several visits to the Costa Mesa location. Food was consistent between locations. I notated it was my husbands 40th bday & we were stuck in the darkest room of the 3 floors & of the ground floor rooms the darkest & noisiest. It was awful, quite frankly. We were smashed (party of 6) between 2 other tables & my husband & I took the ends & played bumper seats with the other tables. It was freezing & we kept asking for the blizzard a/c to be adjusted & it was, but we had to keep asking. Drink service in the beginning was slow. Waitress was ok not superior-her back up help was better than she was. Food was cold fast due to blowing a/c. I could go on & on but why?"

  • "Everything was absolutely divine. Lobster mashed a must have staple. Salmon grilled to perfection. Steamed spinach.... Ummmm mmmm good. The bread warm and toasted. Service was OUTSTANDING! From the greeter to the valet.... I can't find one reason to complain.... ABSOLUTELY SUPERB!!!!"

  • "not sure why this ALWAYS happens, but this place always screws up my medium rare temp ordered rib-eye!!!! everything else about this place is awesome. would just love to get my steak cooked correctly the first time so that i can enjoy all the great hot side dishes. nobody likes a hot steak with cold sides!!!!!!"

  • "The place is dark dark dark! To a point I couldn't even tell if my steak was cooked right. I got the large bone in filet medium rare and I'm pretty sure it came out rare because parts of the meat was COLD. Service is better this time around, but pushy. We went straight to entrée because last time we had so much left over, but our waiter kept saying "going straight to dinner huh? No appetizers and going straight to dinner. " ...Did I stutter? I think it's a nice restaurant to take your client or your date but it no longer feels like it's the best steak house in LA."

  • "The best restaurant I have been to in a long time! Amazing food and service! I loved the room we were in it was quite and perfect. the staff was great upbeat happy and super accommodating. At one point we were interested in moving to a different floor with live entertainment and they had a table right away no questions asked! we ended up staying in the quiet room and it was great I had so much fun! The best steak in LA!"

  • "Way too noisy for easy conversation at our corner table for 6. And way too dark. Our servers pulled flashlights out of their pocket to show us our appetizer (seafood tower which was delicious) and to shine a light on the different sauces so we could see them while they were explained to us. Two of us had the filet--delicious, to die for, so was the Ahi. the New York and the Porterhouse were a disappointment."

  • "I would like to Thank everyone at Mastro's Beverly Hills, whom made my experience memorable. Everything about this restaurant is brilliant. Starting with the greeters. The customer service is excellent. I enjoyed having drinks at the Penthouse. The Dj was great! The view on the pattio is beautiful. Eating on the second level was awesome. I enjoyed the music there as well. Every item on the menu that I've eaten was delicious, Perfectly prepared & very flavorful. In my opinion this restaurant is beyond a 5 star rating. It is my ultimate favorite place to eat, drink & enjoy the social life."

However, this location was particularly noisy and we were really crammed in tight with other diners this time around. We have been here before where it wasn't quite so noisy and crowded.   • "Took my boyfriend to Mastros for his 40th birthday. The restaurant is beautiful and a great crowd We sat on the patio and the sevice was excellent Our food was perfect on every level. I ordered the bone In filet which melts in your mouth and the spinach Salad was beyond amazing. The key lime pie For dessert was so good. All and all it was a perfect Night. The atmosphere the good and the service All 5 star. Love this place and will come here When every I have an occasion to do so"

  • "The ladys who seat you for your reservations are politely rude it was our 13 year anniversary I had resevations I called and spoke withchrissy told her we was running late due to traffic accident she said no problem come in anyway. However we waited at the bar for an hour until a staff member at the bar had to go back an ask what was going on. I noticed if your not a regular their they truly make you feel like your not important I've been here several times but this was my worst experience I probably won't return since i'm big on customer service. The overall dining was ok even the bath room attendant was nice its just the ladys who seat you for your reservations I did not like they ruined a special day was not accomidated at all."

  • "Aside from the hour long wait to be seated at our table, even with a reservation, our experience at Mastro's in Beverly Hills was outstanding. Catching up with our out of town guests, we waited at the filled bar where our mixologist was both talented and attentive. We were seated in a full and festive upstairs dining room for dinner with happy and chatty patrons surrounding us. Our wait staff was outstanding and the food was cooked to perfection. With the fun and upbeat music from the band, our night was an overall excellent experience, perfect for our party."

  • "Amazing food . Ok service. They are little slow on everything. So if you go there dont be too hungry,coz you have to wait about an hour or more for your food to start coming. Also dont sit at the main hall which is on the first floor. Second or third floors are much better"
