Service was great - helped us when we wanted it, left us alone when we were busy. Food was excellent - great pastas, very nice crab sandwich.

During the online reservation, I requested that we receive a corner table because I did not want to have my 2 young kids disturb the other guests. They compiled, it was a good seat and the table was set up very well.
Everything we all ate was very good. I had the Veal Chop and man that was so good and tender as well. For the dessert, I had Creme Brulee and is was very good, not The House of Prime Rib in SF excellent but good none-the-less.
The food was good, but be prepared to open your wallet a little more than the Olive Garden.

They have white table cloths, waiters who know how to recommend things to insure a great evening. The food is prepared with care and the drinks are very good. They also help with special diet requests. My wife is glutten intolerant and they made the dishes special for her without glutten. I had the special Lobster Pasta dish and the lobster and special sauce exploded in my mouth. I had requested a corner booth when making the reservation, and we were seated in a perfect corner booth. The waiter was attentive, warm, and friendly. The food was excellent, and we really enjoyed everything. This was a first time visit for me, although several of our group had been to Massimo's in the past. She was 20 minutes plus late. He was patient but attentive. At one point, we decided to order lunch and about 5 minutes later, she arrived. He quickly offered her something to drink and asked if she wanted to order. She was the person in our group that had asked that we meet at an Italian restaurant!! Our waiter actually put a hold on our food prep so that everything was done at the same time. Kudos!!! Sorry, forgot his name.

The food was great and the service 'Excellent'. Catered to what our needs were and also adding extra spice 'on request' that made me relish the food is awesome! Frequent checks at the table to ensure we are doing well is to be appreciated. Water was filled every few minutes, so never was thirsty :). Overall, great place for dinner and they were kid-friendly, kids menu was good there. It's strong ties to Fremont's royalty and financial leaders ensure its continuity! Having dined there since 1994, very little has changed, and that is a great thing. Great Italian/American food. Excellent ambiance and service. We started off with our favorite appetizer, Cajun Rock Shrimp. It was excellent, as usual. Our server, Dave, was very helpful in describing the several specials, not on the menu. I had the Jumbo Shrimp with Risotto, and my wife had the Macadamia nut encrusted Mahi-Mahi. Both dishes were excellently prepared.
