Mason's at Loews Vanderbilt HotelConfusing, inaccurateThe food at the buffet was fabulous, however, it is difficult to know what you actually made reservations for. They initially seated us at a table with menus that said nothing about a brunch buffet. When we asked about it, we were moved to another area that was in a large banquet room with a buffet that was much more extravagant than we were expecting with fresh seafood, a carving station and omelet bar. The buffet cost $50 pet person which included a mixed drink as well. ( not bad for the high quality of food we received. ) however, I wish we would have known what we were getting into since the online buffet price is listed at $15 per person.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMWow, a New Find in NashvilleThe food was original and fabulous. We all ordered different items and we all were thrilled. Liked it so much we immediately made a reservation for brunch two days later. Brunch was also terrific. Check out the Grilled Peach salad and the Fried Green Tomato BLT.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent Easter BrunchWe went to Loew's Vanderbilt for Easter brunch and it was excellent. Strip steak and rack of lamb and jumbo cocktail shrimp, all among the best I've ever tasted! Some desserts average, but a slice of chocolate layer cake that I'm still thinking about. Way too much food even to taste--skipped breakfast foods and salad altogether. Even validated our parking ticket.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMEverything was great onlyEverything was great only one complaint the Alaskan King crab legs had no taste. That is really what excited me about going there. They should of been sweet but they weren't. On the other hand the shrimp were excellent had wonderful flavor. Being originally from New England we know our seafood. Overall we had a wonderful time just for next year watch the seafood.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AM
