Was surprised to find decent BBQ outside my native South. Brisket was done perfectly and pulled pork was tasty. Too little sauce can on the sandwiches. Requested additional sauce which kicked up the flavor a good bit. Definitely ask for additional sauce. Server was attentive and very knowledgeable of the diverse beer selection.

Mason Jar is a great place to grab food with friends, whether they are out-of-towners or local residents. The food is delicious, the prices aren't bad, and the place is a great find. My only complaint is that the food often takes some time to get to the table, and while, I understand that often quality takes time, I don't want to wait over 20 minutes for my entree. Also, our table didn't have utensils when we sat down, which was a drawback.
Otherwise, I would advise that Mason Jar continues to serve great food, memorable experiences, and incredible entree/dessert combinations. (Turducken pastry and the rice pudding)

The food was outstanding! We had the cuban sandwich (pulled pork, ham, mustard, cheese) and a BBQ tasting platter with pulled pork, brisket, and baby back ribs. Their meat was so tender it just fell apart! The waitress did well until the end, then she dropped the check and it took her 20 minutes to come back for it. It's more of a sports bar feel, with TVs with the basketball games on but it was an overall fun atmosphere and amazing BBQ food. I will definitely go back soon!
