"I had heard alot of good things about Masa from comments on Open Table. I didn't find it all that special. The food was good but nothing to rave about or to bring me back. No special flavors or concoctions. Their food presentation was beautiful. I would have expected more of an experience for the price paid. I was surprised to see the hard wooden chairs at a D'Amico restaurant. Modern but cheap."

"We have eaten at Masa several times. The food has continued to improve. Now it is one of the finest Mexican restaurants in the country. Its service has always been outstanding. This time we enjoyed a mahi-mahi crevice and a hearts of palm salad for starters. Both were a superb blend of refreshing flavors and textures. This time we decided to try the menu's maiz section. We ordered a braised beef enchilada and a chicken tamale. The enchilada was light, but flavorful, and the tamale was a sophisticated layering of well-blanced and perfectly accented flavors. Coconut flan was a great ending. There is a wide selection of margaritas, but I really enjoy "el vampiro," containing juices infused with habanero and other spicy delights."

"Been there three times. Food is wonderful. The waitstaff is incredible: the kitchen can't keep up. All three times, we had concerts to attend, and all three times we just barely made it, though we had been seated, with reservations, an hour and a half before. We just won't go there again!"

"My boyfriend brought me for my birthday and every bite was fantastic! We were literally giddy at how delightful the food was! We have recommended it to so many people already! We loved it so much we went back less then two weeks later to try out Sunday night Date Night! Great value and as before great food and service! What a great little gem in Downtown Minneapolis!"
