  • "Being raised in So.California and vacationing extensively from Alcapulco up to Baja, this food is the best. Never thought I could find GREAT Mexican cuisine in PA.Our first time there, won't be our last. LOVED the Killer Quesadilla, Chicken Tacos, and Chimis. The salsa they give you with chips when you sit down is great. My husband ate all of it. Their salsa verde(green) is the best I have ever had. Special Margaritas are fabulous! Can't wait to try eating outside on the roof top, so to speak, when it warms up. There are so many things we want to try on the menu, it will be fun doing so. If we lived closer to them we would be there a minimum of twice a week. This place is a keeper on our list!"

  • "My husband and I were surprised at how small the Tacos were. Everything is a la carte now and so by the time you paid 12.00 for 3 tacos and 1.99 for a very small serving of rice and another 1.99 for the refried beans - you've paid far more than you would at other restaurants. The expense will keep me from going back for Tacos."

  • "The food at Mexicali was better than I remember from a year ago when I was there last. But our waitress was so bad it's difficult for me to recommend. There are too many good dining options in West Chester to take a chance on a place with lousy service."

  • "The food was good. We had the enchiladas and the short rib tacos. The Magaritas were very disappointing. I was excited to drink a good Mexican restaurant Magarita, but it was not well made. Both our drinks tasted like a cup of water with ice and a spritz of lime juice. I sent it back and the remixed version tasted like a tequila on the rocks. There was no flavor. The server was nice, but was overwhelmed and had too many tables."

  • "I've been to Mas with my husband on a more quiet night and we had fabulous fast service, delicious meals, and enjoyed the fun decor. I've also visited with friends in the summer ~ rooftop bar is super cool, and we took the party inside for amazing food and a great time. Tables are not on top of each other, which we loved ~ could actually talk, which is tough for some of the West Chester restaurants. Will definitely be back!"

  • "I took my girlfriend to Mas Mexicali for Valentine's Day dinner. The food was very good as we split a queso fundito which was delicious. For my entree I got a burrito which was also good while my girlfriend got shrimp enchiladas which she liked. My girlfriend was given a rose halfway through the meal for the holiday and we also got a free dessert of strawberries and chocolate which was a nice touch. The food was very good overall, but that was really the best part of my experience. The service was lackluster at best as we did not receive any chips or salsa until we asked for some after we finished our appetizer. We also had to ask for plates for our appetizer. If you like Mexican food and can deal with below average service then eat here."

  • "Saturday night at Mas was loud and boisterous between the noisy bar crowd and the loud music (but too loud for a dinner table conversation). My seafood enchilada was fabulous - loaded with big chunks of shrimp and scallops with a decadent cream sauce. The other dishes at the table were fine - chicken quesadillas were hearty but extremely spicy (with no warning), and the mole chicken was not seasoned enough but good. Margueritas were very watered down, like they had been in a pitcher over ice for a while - little taste and little tequila. Good chips and salsa, friendly service."

  • "It was one of our colder days this year so outdoor dining was closed but the number of guests dining or meeting at the bar was large. This restaurant consistently has the best Mexican food this side of San Diego. Having lived in San Diego area for over 20 years, we believe they have the perfect ambiance, decor, and selection of menu items. Happy to find a place like this in the Philly area."

  • "Really enjoyable evening dinner with our family. Convenient to make a reservation through OpenTable, great service, lively fun atmosphere, and good food. We liked the appetizers and chips; filling portions of the entries left us taking some of it back home. Fajita Feista - combo of shrimp, chicken, and steak was good; everyone was pleased with their selections. For a casual and affordable evening out, this is definitely a nice option in West Chester"

  • "We had a group of ten girls and the staff accommodated us the whole time. When we walked in and requested a quieter table, they were more than happy to move us. Our waiter Dalton was great! Separated our checks without making it a hassle and took a million pictures with multiple phones as requested. He also made great margarita recommendations! Thanks dalton!!"

  • "Some friends and I went to the annual Drag Holiday Cabaret (formerly at Jazmine Thai). Always so much fun. They really need more space for it, the divider between the bar and seating makes it hard to get a good view. Food here is always very good and reaonably priced. Chips and salsa are addictive! One pet peeve - please put the prices for the drinks on the menu. This trend is ridiculous. I'm not buying something without knowing the price, so I asked our waiter. He didn't even know the prices. Turned out the house wines were just as expensive as the premium wines! I drink less when I don't know the prices since I don't want to keep asking the waiter."

  • "Worst Mexican restaurant in West Chester. "fish" taco's consisted of 1 small piece of something like a Mrs Pauls fish stick in each taco. No lettuce, no nothing. For $10 for 2 of these this place is awful."

  • "The food was fine. The Mini Chimi's were quite good. That being said nothing was great but nothing was bad. If you like a busy place with an open casual feel and need a TexMex fix this could be your place. Margaritas were good and they had a nice selection of Tequilas. Not a romantic place ...at all, but fun enough."

  • "I went here with a friend at about 6:30 on a Saturday night. When we got there, the bar downstairs was packed and they had to start seating people on the second floor. We were the first people alone in a room upstairs and it was weird. Anyway, the food itself was ok. Complimentary chips and salsa were delicious and my margarita was nice, although we had to wait for a very long time to get it. I had the caballero burger and I definitely wouldn't order it again. The flavors didn't go that well together an everything just ended up tasting sweet. My friend had a burrito and was very pleased. Maybe I should have gotten something more authentic."

  • "We went here with a group of 6 for lunch and I must say...What an incredible find! The food was perfect and our server, Michelle, was one of the best we have ever had. I personally started with the Honey Chipotle Wings and I have never tasted such an amazing sauce. The wings were soooo big too. I had the "Award-Winning" Chicken Tacos as my entree and they were absolutely phenomenal. The chicken was just perfect and the rest of the dish fit beautifully. If I had one complaint, it would be that the portions were so big I had to take half of it home! Great find, we will be back soon! Thanks Mas!"

  • "We stopped in almost as an after-thought for lunch and had a fantastic experience! The food is authentic and the margaritas were fantastic (using no sour mix was a nice surprise). The guac is insane, so don't miss it. Very generous portions and creative menu items really make it an enjoyable place to dine. We will be back!"

  • "I had been to Mas twice before this last experience and was non too pleases. I decided to give it another shot and was disappointed that I did. The food was terrible and the service was slow. The service being slow was super surprising since the restaraunt was DEAD! I will not be dining at Mas again."

  • "Being the only roof deck in west chester is the only appeal to this place. The prior restaurant certainly had the food, drinks and atmosphere ride. Mas is confused. The drinks are good, the food is dry and lacks some authentic taste while being dry. Then the music was old school rock. What on earth? Make an impact, stay true to what you advertise. It was clear that everyone on the deck with us wanted drinks and were not thrilled with the food."
