Mas Mexicali Cantina - West ChesterPretty good Mex in the Philly burbsWe went here on a date night after seeing it rated on Open Table's Hot Spot list. Great salsa and chips to start, with their signature cucumber (!) margarita and some white wine sangria. The fish tacos were good but each of the 2 tacos needed another piece of fish to make them truly filling. The classic enchiladas had a little bit of a kick and were very tasty. It's a mystery why the rice and beans on both plates were cold-- aren't these usually added to plates just before they leave the kitchen?? Overall we'll be back to try other margaritas and the flaming queso fundido (which we saw with flames shooting up at a nearby table - cool!)6/7/2013 12:00:00 AMMemories of MasWe went as a group of 6 with a 9-month old baby. Our table was perfectly situated to accommodate for the baby. Our waitress Brittany was fun, lots of energy, always smiling and on top of things. Our food was terrific. We have some folks who love spicy food and they were impressed. They're from Louisiana and admit is really hard to find good spicy food in the north. Usually my experience there when dining is excellent, our waiters/waitresses are usually up to par. However, the 4 of us in my party decided to get some drinks after we ate on the first level, & the bar service/bartenders were pretty bad. I love the cornbread, the seafood enchilada was great and the skinny margarita hit the spot. The waitress was very sweet. My mom had the organic chicken and really liked it.

Absolutely THE BEST Mexican food this side of San Diego. We have hunted for a restaurant like this since moving east nearly 20 years ago and this is the one!
