We ordered the grilled octopus and fried calamari as starters. The grilled octopus was about the best that I've had anywhere. The calamari was good but didn't stand out. The service was steady and the food came out as it was ready from the kitchen - no heat lamps (the waiter did explain that up front). We had shellfish, fish, and pasta dished and everything was high end quality. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente. Our only objection was the noise level. By 9pm the 80's soundtrack was blasting a bit too loud to carry on a normal conversation - it's not a club so we felt that was unnecessary. My favorite thing was the concept of the restaurant: the deco, service style and presentation. Very high quality dinning. The most disappointing part was the $62 steak. It tasted like a $32 steak. It's good but disappointing for the price. The portion was big, but the taste wasn't great at all. I feel like if I would have order anything else it would have been delicious and proportionally good tasting to the price. We got right in after making reservations and he enjoy a dinner special that was not on the menu, a Seafood pasta that included lobster tails and mussells, etc. I had a delicious eggplant parm. The service was very good. Food was delicious, however, my hubby never asked the price of his plate which was $62 by itself. A bit pricey. The DJ was amazing and had had a great mixture of music. I can't say the food was great. I went with 5 friends and we all agreed food could have been better. I had the calamari which was salty. My friend ordered pizza which came out after everyone else finished their dinner. The waiter came back and said she would not be charged for her pizza. Oh, the pizza was not good either; no taste at all especially since it was the sweet/spicy sausage. Another friend had the crispy breaded chicken with I believe broccoli on top; the chicken was so bland.

We had been told by our friends and family that the meatballs were fantastic and that the food was as close to authentic Italian as one can get. Needless to say, we were not disappointed. The food was fantastic, the place was beautiful, and the service was outstanding. The portions were right in line with the price. The only disappointment was that we couldn't stay longer than we wanted because we had event to attend to. It was my husband's 40th birthday dinner with family and close friends. Tommy was our server and his team were amazing from the minute we sat down until we left to continue the celebration at the Casino. The food was superb!! Everything was perfect the timing of the courses and the dessert. It was our first time and we will definitely be back. This was a great find! We look forward to future visits. You definitely made my husbands birthday very memorable!! Thanks again!! This is definitely a neighborhood GEM!!!!
