Our son met us there, and we split several plates including a dessert. The calamari was delicious as was the beet salad, and the chocolate cake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream split three ways was a satisfying finish. Not to be negative rather just a little perspective. At first the service was horribly slow, but the food was terrific. It was loud and you couldn't even hear the person next to you. Also, no reservations.
Now, the service was great from the bar, both food and drinks came quickly. The noise level had tappered off so you can enjoy a conversation. Love that we can use Open Table to make reservations. Okay, so one major complaint, the wonderful thick hearty garlic truffle fries are gone, replaced by aweful curly fries. What's up with that Martini Sky, this isn't Burger King. I tried the tortilla soup which had good flavor and the grilled salmon sliders. I liked the Viet style on the salmon sliders it was light with some crunch from the vegetables inside. Even the house salad was dressed well and generous. What we didn't like was that it took nearly a half hour for our first drinks to make it to the table. This restaurant is known for small plates ( we ordered the flat bread pizza and tempura green beans which both were equally delicious) but we also ordered salads for our "main dishes". Food was good, reasonably priced fixed menu for Valentine's Day. Will need to return to experience this place on a non-holiday though. Extra tables were set up causing some crowding issues, otherwise an overall nice dinner. Definitely worth trying any of the dessert drinks!
