   One of my favorite lunch places in the theater district. I appreciate the specific lunch menu rather than an all-day one. Our server Addison was excellent in every way - attentive, pleasant, and pro-active. One of the diners had asked for her salad to be served on a separate plate. When the assistant brought it out, it was not as requested. Addison immediately whisked it away to have the request honored. Definitely a thumbs up!

   We had another lovely dinner at Marseille! It was a busy early evening for the restaurant and the service was a little spottier than our previous visit, but the menu was extensive, the food delicious, and the ambiance of this lovely restaurant is worth going to again and again.

   We’ve never been disappointed. Pre- or post-theatre, bar (counter) or dining room, always a lot of fun. Great food, great service. Austin is an amazing bar tender. Sarah was our server in the dining room. Love all of them. And the food is wonderful. From duck pate, to chicken to short ribs to pork chop. All was wonderful. It’s on our “regular” theatre district go-to list.

   The food was delicious and food presentation was very nice. The happy hour oysters are very good and an exceptional value. The service was lacking. Our original server went off duty shortly after we arrived introducing us to our new server ; a nice changeover. However, our once our 2nd server started taking care of us service was switched to another server who introduced herself. Although everyone was polite, the service was disjointed and therefore lacked knowledge of providing top notch service.

   Food was average. Burger was a basic burger and was overcooked. Duck confit was overcooked and dry. Octopus appetizer was delicious as was pate. Just so loud with music playing and patron noise.

    It took a few minutes for someone to be available to show us to our table, but once seated, service was quick, efficient, and friendly. The food was fantastic -- my husband and I shared an appetizer of the duck mousse, which was smooth and delicious, but we'd have loved a few more of the sour cherries. It was also an enormous serving! We both ordered the confit, but I asked for spinach instead of the bean ragout; the server was gracious, and my dish came out with an very large portion of perfectly sauteed spinach with slivered garlic. As for the confit itself -- absolutely sublime. Even though we were stuffed, my husband ordered the pot de creme, which was smooth and rich and marvelous.
