Diner Reviews
  • "The service was incredible, the food delicious and the entertainment outstanding! We will definitely go again next time we are in Vegas."

  • "My colleague and I enjoyed our experience. Only a fixed menu is offered but it's good, including shrimp, beef and chicken plates, each nicely prepared. Service was good and the only gripe was a weak wine list and the wine served too warm, requiring a nice bucket to be made drinkable. We'd gladly return knowing a beer would have gone well with our food. Dessert was kinda a Moroccan tiramisu concoction - good."

  • "Great fun and service. Was full of energy just can be a little loud to have conversations with a group."

  • "This is a great place to go to for an entertaining evening and a great meal. The food is authentic Moroccan and is served family style. It is a full 6 course meal. Try to save some rom for the fresh baked desert. Belly dancer comes around a few times during the evening. It's great to see, but even more fun to join in for the more extroverted in your group. Nice to bring a few smaller bills if you want to tip her by tucking into her waistband. Staff were very nice and appropriately attentive."

  • "Great dinner and show combo.... plenty of great food... and we enjoyed the belly dancing!"

  • "We had a reservation right at opening since we had a little one with us. The staff did a great job checking in and interacting with our son (6) and making sure he was happy ( they even offered stuff off the prix fix menu) he tried everything and enjoyed it - especially dessert!. It was the nicest experience in Vegas with a family. We never once felt like a family was not welcome at Marrakech."

  • "Basic Med dishes. Large portions, and the service was very good. Guess you cannot be too picky in Memphis!"

  • "what an amazing adventure for dinner...the food was fantastic and plentiful and the belly dancing was so neat!"

  • "We had a great time at Marrakech. I planned the dinner for about 10 ladies. The food was delicious and plentiful. We decided to go with the prixe fixe moroccan meal. The hummus, shrimp, and dessert were outstanding. Our favorite dish overall was the beef kabobs. They were very accommodating on the vegetarian options as well. The belly dancing was very entertaining. A great and vibrant place to go with a group! I will be coming back when I visit Las Vegas in the future."

  • "We came to Las Vegas with another couple as a mini vacation. We each got to pick a restaurant to eat at one night. This was our pick for the first night in town. The good news was that it exceeded our expectations. The food was delicious and they give you a good sampling of Morrocan cuisine. Mixed in with our courses was a fun spirited belly dancer that got all of the diners involved. The only draw back was the expensive wine menu. A bottle of the house wine was $40 and it went up from there. None of the other restaurants ranked as high as this one for total experience. We loved it."

  • "This restaurant has excellent food and great service. I've been here before with my husband and this time we took the kids. The kids enjoyed the belly dancer and can't wait to go back!"

  • "My wife and I have wanted to try this from our to do list for a very long time. We wanted to experience dining as shown in a scene of the movie Sabrina. Marrakech Moroccan delivered on all counts. We had a special night. It was wonderful and we strongly recommend trying it at least once. Thank you so much."

  • "Marrakech was awesome! Tarriq made sure we got in even though our reservation was a little off and made us feel at home. The six course meal was delicious and we are looking forward to going back and getting the traditional pastille. Just off the strip and better than many meals on it. Make sure to reserve early and bring your appetite!"

  • "From the moment you walk in 'under the tent' you become engulfed in a middle eastern fantasy. The exotic music, soft loungers and sofas create the ambiance of thousands of miles away yet just off of Paradise! The server is very attentive and always ask about any food allergies or requests at the beginning of the meal. 6 courses to delight the palette, but be careful because it's easy to fill up on the first course of delectable shrimp scampi. You'll definitely be full by the time the main course (chicken couscous) arrives. But you will keep eating thru the last bite of dessert while the belly dancers keep you mezmerized. Enjoy!"

  • "I have been to Marrakech many times before and always had a good experience. The service was better than ever, thank you Abdul. The food was good but pace yourself because six courses fills you up quickly. The dancers were great and we plan on returning in the future."

  • "Came here for my 5 year wedding anniversary and was simply blown away. The moment we stepped past the red curtain we were in Morocco. The ambience was stunning and the music was perfect. We were also treated to 2 glasses of champagne to celebrate our occasion. The rose water smelt divine and the food, I can't even begin to say how good it was. My favorite was the kebabs. My absolute favorite thing were the belly dancers though. Simply hypnotic and stunning. I loved them more than my husband did!! All in all it was an absolute joy to come here. I can't wait to come back with a group of friends and hopefully my dancing skills will have improved when they pull me up to dance with them again!! Thank you to EVERYONE at Marrakech. You all rock."

  • "I went with my hubby for our anniversary and we really enjoyed it. Its a romantic setting, but can be enjoyed in big groups. The service was good. The food was pretty good too, I just don't think $45 per person should be charged for the amount of food given.. especially since you share every plate. Besides that we really liked it."

  • "We thoroughly enjoyed our evening here. The staff was attentive without being intrusive, the food was fabulous, and the ambiance was reflective of an enjoyable local restaurant in a major city in Morraco. Fabrics wrapped the walls & ceilings which definitely dampened the conversations at tables around us. One major difference from a truly ethnic experience was that diners sat on western height seating, but when we requested cushions to sit on the floor, our servers were quick & happy to provide many comfortable pillows for our comfort. Entertainment (a belly dancer) was enjoyable to watch. Don't eat too much of the first or second course as there is a lot of great food still to come. Even the mint tea is sweetened perfectly."

  • "Although it was a tad bit loud, I did enjoy the (6) course meal & atmosphere."

  • "Dinner begins with a hand washing at the tables and then moves to shrimp scampi. One of our group does not eat seafood so they prepared an alternate of sautéed mushrooms. Both were great. Diner then moved to lentil soup and a vegetable tray with humus Fresh made bread for dipping. A pineapple with beef kabobs was next. Finally the main course arrived of chicken and couscous. Too much food to eat and everything was well done. Desert of filo pastry w/hot tea. Everything we ate was great. Service was exceptional and so was the belly dancing . Great atmosphere decorated in a "tent" setting. We tried Moroccan wine as a recommendation from the staff which was a pleasant surprise. If you want a non traditional restaurant, this is the place to go!"

  • "We took a client to Marrakech for the food and experience and we were not disappointed! The food was amazing! Every course was so delicious it was hard not to keep eating! The dancer was so talented and fit! We were all very impressed with everything and I would take clients back in a heartbeat! Thanks!"

  • "Not an everyday dinning experience. A belly dancer entertaining hourly, good food served in cources, friendly staff, $45 per person set menu."

  • "Great food and service!! Belly dancers very talented quiet and cozy not far from the strip"

  • "The restaurant has a prix-fix 6-course menu. As of Feb 2014 the cost was $45 per person, plus tax and gratuity. The food was quite good, but not gourmet. The atmosphere was amazing - feels like you could be in another country. The music gets loud when the belly dancer comes out but otherwise the noise level is not too bad. This would be a great restaurant when looking for something unique. I took some clients here for dinner and all had a great time."

  • "I've been to Marrakech several times, and every time it's been wonderful. This visit was my first time with a large group (14) and it was a hit with everyone. The ambiance of this place is amazing. Totally lush, with lovely traditional touches throughout the meal. Expect to stay a while--this is a leisurely six-course meal, and every course is phenomenal."

  • "If you are into Moroccan/middle eastern, food then you have to go here, The food is genuine to the culture, and they have Belly Dancers!!"

  • "Don't be fooled by the outside. Sure, you'll park in a strip mall but as soon as you walk through the door you're transported to Morroco! The ambiance is fantastic and yet trumped by the authentic flavors experienced in this establishment. It would be easy for the food to be pretentious and yet it was prepared simply and with love. When there are only six items on your menu and you've been in business for over thirty years, you know you've got your system DOWN. The belly dancing was artistic and not overly sexual. I not only would, but WILL recommend Marrakech to any of my fiends visiting Las Vegas."

  • "From the beautiful belly dancer, the attentive wait staff, the décor of this unique place, a person could be totally satisfied. Then on top of that is the table hand washing with towels as napkins, the 6 course wonderfully prepared and presented meal. Every course is a tastebud delight. The final course of desert will make a persons eyes roll to the back of their head with satisfaction.."

  • "The Marrakech is a unique dining experience in this day and age, as it serves a 6 course fixed menu. Everything was delicious! I highly recommend this as a special occasion diner, unless you have an extremely picky person with you. There are couple vegetarian courses, but they're delicious as well. Additionally, about every 45 minutes they have a belly dancer come out and dance, and she'll often invite people to come up and dance with her, so it's a great time for everyone!"

  • "My wife and I took a couple of friends out to the Marrakech because they had never seen bellydancing. My wife is a dancer so we knew basically what to expect. The dancer was really good but we expected more than only one. The food was very good, service was excellent but for the price the entertainment was a little on the shy side. Should have two dancers minimum."

  • "The Marrakech was a memorable dining experience. The exotic atmosphere, the fabulous food, the amazing service and of course the belly dancers all combined to make a great evening. It was a relaxing dining experience and the six course menu was a great way to dine. I would definitely recommend this restaurant."

  • "A freind recommended this restaurant. It was so much fun! The six course meal was the best! Tasty, presented in style, and with just the right spices. The banana pudding pastry was amazing. The belly dancers were the high-light of the evening. They even had my husband dancing. I loved the feel of the restaurant. The fact that it was small and cozy. Very romantic for our New Year's Eve dinner. The staff were so great. We will be going back for sure!"

  • "Lots of great food and great entertainment. The servers are friendly and you are treated as though you are the only people in the restaurant. The atmosphere is very unique. It is a must to dine at Marrakech whether a visitor to Las Vegas or this is home."

  • "Our family of four enjoyed our visit to Marrakech Moroccan Restaurant. It was close to the Vegas Strip but you do need a car or a taxi to get there. The outside looked like any regular strip mall...however, inside you were in for a treat. The ceilings and walls were draped with beautiful material and the lighting was very dramatic. The booths were cosy and you felt you were possibly in Morocco. The dancers were lovely and danced often during our dinner. We were disappointed in the blandness of the set menu. Tons of food, but just not that tasty. Possibly, we are just not that "into" Moroccan food. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for it's atmosphere and entertainment though."
