This was our first visit to this location, but I have eaten at the Winter Park location a few times. This visit confirmed that the food is consistently very good across locations. The service was also excellent with several members of the staff stopping by to check on us and bring anything we might need. Considering the touristy location, this was NOT the typical tourist dining experience (overpriced, but sloppy food preparation / indifferent service). To the contrary, this is a restaurant worth visiting. We will definitely dine there again and we hope Marlow's Tavern succeeds at this location. Also, the prices are very reasonable for the quality of food and service.

Dark woods and tasteful decor lend a touch of class to a wonderful dining experience. The asparagus fries with tarragon citrus apply made a fantastic appetizer. The grilled salmon over pearl couscous, tart cherries, baby kale, and slivered almonds may have been the best salmon dish I've eaten in 25 years. Highly recommended.

Had a dinner party for eight there on Saturday. Most agreed that everything from drinks, food, ambiance was way beyond their expectations. Food would be great at twice the price. If you love good food, you have to try this place.

I attended a "Breasta Fiesta" fundraiser for my sister-in-law this past Tuesday and was blown away by the service at Marlow's. The food was great (I had the house salad with salmon and my sister had the black bean burger with tavern fries). The people who work at Marlow's really make this place but, of course, the cleanliness of the restraunt and quality of the food was also a big part of what made a wonderful visit there. I recommend Marlow's highly and encourage all to try them out.f

We live in the Orlando area and we like to try new and different restaurants. Marlow's Tavern welcomed us as soon as we walked in. Although the restaurant was not busy we felt like this was the norm for the restaurant. Alyx the bartender was the best!! He was very knowledgable of the food and drinks. During our visit he introduced himself and called us by name as well. We ordered some drinks and appetizers that Alyx recommended. Before our food arrived the manager, Steve, brought us out a complimentary appetizer for us to try. Steve stated that Alyx told him we were locals and first time visitors and we had to try the homemade chips. The chips and the other appetizers were very good and we will be back.

We dined here once before and found some of the appetizers and the burgers to be quite tasty. But this time around, food so-so. We decided to try smoked trout dip for the first time. It was good for a few bites but the smoke flavor was so strong that we quickly grew tired of it. The sizzling feta cheese platter was much tastier and we really enjoyed that (although it wasn't sizzling). My Asian salad was good (except for the big chunks of core I found in it). However, my husband's black and blue tacos were bulging with filling; he found it was easier to eat with a fork to start until he could get a grip on the soft tortilla. Service was "meh" to start, but luckily improved as we dined. We'll return, we just won't rush.

We were tired of paying good money for just okay food and Marlow's was a wonderful surprise. The food was innovative and fresh. Our awesome waitress, Louisa, recommended the Ahi Pokey and the Crab and Shrimp Nachos and they were both amazing. We also loved the Fried Asparagus and everything else! Our 3 kids loved it all. It was the best meal we have had in years, maybe ever. What a nice change from the normal restaurant offerings. A definite improvement to Orlando's International Drive! We hope they open more Marlow's closer to home.

We visited Marlows with a group of 8 after a long day at the Orange county convention center. It was in easy walking distance from our hotel there. We had called earlier for a reservation, but when we realized we were not going to make our 6:30 time, they were accommodating and moved us to 8pm as we requested. The restaurant was busy, but our waitress, Gloria, was extremely helpful with answering lots of questions/ special requests from our group. We were pleased when they had a gluten free menu for one person in our our party. The food was a little more unique than typical tavern fare which was nice. The jalapeno corn grits were amazing...and not very spicy. We all highly recommend them as a side. The feta appetizer was also delicious.

We booked Marlow's for our Easter family meal under the pretense they were having breakfast items added to their Sunday Brunch. We even called them directly to confirm. We get there on Sunday to find out that is only in their Winter Park location. Thats not what they said. Their ala carte lunch menu was good so we ordered off the menu. Service was excellent and the food quality was very good.

Love this place! The blue burger is amazingly juicy, comes with a side item, we got the fried okra…YUM! At the big communal table, a 4 top sat next to us. They asked us what we got, stating it smelled & looked so good. 2 of them got the same burger :) The Caesar side salad is delicious as well. Great beer selection…if you like a hoppy STRONG beer, try the Swamp Ape. Beware, it is so strong. Def will be back. Our waiter was amazing, made good recommendations & was very attentive. We never had to ask for refills on water, or anything. Thanks Marlow's!

My husband and I dined here outside with our 2-year old daughter. The staff was very friendly and they have a large covered porch for eating outside. They also had live music that was a good backdrop. We ordered the calamari as an appetizer and were very disappointed. Chewy and the breading didn't stick. My husband ordered the shrimp and grits, which was a completely different story. DELICIOUS!!! I ordered the black bean burger which was alright. Overall, the setting is great but the food seems to be a bit hit or miss.

Was in Orlando for a conference. Met some business associates there. Service was good but did not get in our way and impede our conversations / work. The noise level was low once again allowing us to accomplish our work. It is within walking distance of the Orange County Convention Center adding convenience. If you need to have a lunch meeting during a conference at the Orange County Convention Center this is an excellent choice. It is convenient, the food is good and the environment allows you to accomplish you work while enjoying a pleasant lunch.

... but I was disappointed in the poor service. Waitress took a long time to show up, took our drink orders and then disappeared. 15 minutes later, and we had our drinks, but it took another 20+ to get our food. And don't even ask me where she went when we were trying to get our check. I like the Marlowe's in ATL, so maybe it was the 38,000 conventioneers in town. But you'd think they'd be trying to turn tables faster if that was so. My recommendation? Go when the convention center is not packed with the equivalent of a small town.
