MarktGreat beer selection and someWe love this place, come here often. The cold seafood platter is awesome and the beer selection is just great, will satisfy any taste. I love the french onion soup and the lobster bisque they make. Mussels are delicious, they make them in several different sauces. Everything I tried here was good. They serve french bread which is a crispy goodness that you can't resist. Desserts are wonderful too, the apple tartlette is out of this world.

The food was outstanding and our waitress Carly really made the evening. When I asked Carly to wow us, she never even flinched. She delivered the best mussels and entrees with minimal direction. I love asking the wait staff to select our dinners and Carly was among the best we have ever had. We'll be back in a heartbeat and will highly recommend Markt to our friends. It is the noisiest restaurant I have ever been in so if you are in the mood for an intimate conversation don't come here. If you want fabulous food and no conversation this is the place! Delicious mussels and frites. A lively place to go off the beaten tourist track of the city, but if you're looking for intimacy, don't go at peak times--it can get very loud and you'll be sitting shoulder to shoulder with people at neighbouring tables, plus the staff gets rushed off their feet and may not be as attentive. Whether you are having a burger or lobster the food is incredible. The Dutch specialities are amazing. I highly recommend the lobster in the pan. Split lobster with julienne vegetables. We finally decided to try it so we grabbed another couple and off to the City we went. It was a Sunday reservation so both the atmosphere & ambience was very relaxed and welcoming. The waitress attended to us right away so that was pleasing. We ordered the Lobsterbisque (delish), Curry Mussels (super delish), lobster pot pie (OMG Slap yo' momma type DELISH), Scallops (Very tasty) and the tuna tartar (yum yum yum)! To wet the palate we went straight for the Belgian delights. That triple fruity beer was amazing! We were pleasantly stuffed when we left there.
