MarktA Genuine Touch of BelgiumFabulous selection of beer, each served in its own specialty glass, as it should be. Delicious mussels and frites. A lively place to go off the beaten tourist track of the city, but if you're looking for intimacy, don't go at peak times--it can get very loud and you'll be sitting shoulder to shoulder with people at neighbouring tables, plus the staff gets rushed off their feet and may not be as attentive. If you want a real European experience, this is it.5/9/2013 12:00:00 AMSeafood with flairThere's something for everyone at this Belgian spot.5/5/2013 12:00:00 AMExactly what we wantedGreat Belgian food, ales and atmosphere. We loved the interior. I can not call this place romantic because it is really really loud inside. They have excellent wine and beer selection which attracts lots of people from around the town. Food and beer selection is impressive. Try the tuna Tartar as an app.4/10/2013 12:00:00 AMSome of the best seafood i've had!!Our cousin works here and has been telling us about how good the food is for quite some time. We finally decided to try it so we grabbed another couple and off to the City we went. It was a Sunday reservation so both the atmosphere & ambience was very relaxed and welcoming. The waitress attended to us right away so that was pleasing. We ordered the Lobsterbisque (delish), Curry Mussels (super delish), lobster pot pie (OMG Slap yo' momma type DELISH), Scallops (Very tasty) and the tuna tartar (yum yum yum)! To wet the palate we went straight for the Belgian delights. That triple fruity beer was amazing! We were pleasantly stuffed when we left there. The couple that tagged along w/us is still talking about the food @Markt and so are we!!4/7/2013 12:00:00 AMAn early dinner in a sunnyAn early dinner in a sunny room on 6th Avenue.
