Knowledgeable and attentive staff and food prepared correctly! No cutting corners, but the price reflects that. When I made my reservation online, I added that it was my significant other's birthday. No mention by any of us all evening, dinner was great, and when we asked for the check, our server came out with a lovely complimentary dessert with a candle and addressed my beau by name with birthday wishes. Well done. The dining room could stand a makeover (or at least a update) -- but like I said, Mark's is what it is -- a classic steakhouse! The staff is always well versed and provides excellent service. Whether you dine outside, in the main dining room or in the lounge, it's always a fantastic experience. They also have a spacious back room for
group dining and/or entertaining. Slow. Waiter forgot to order appetizers and later he mistakenly topped off half-full glass of wine with bottled water (didn't realize it until I took a drink). We had a nice private atmosphere that we could enjoy. They had a fabulous wine list with comparable prices. The steak was incredibly tender and the spinach and asparagus were cooked to perfection. It was chilly inside so we sat outside (comfortable chairs)
