"We had a large group for an early dinner before a show. After booking the reservations online, my initial disappointment at the exterior of the restaurant was more than made up for by the friendly service and comfortable dining room. The food was excellent and learning that they had a large rooftop garden from which they sourced many ingredients was an extra bonus. I would highly recommend MarketHouse to anyone looking for delicious American cuisine made with locally sourced and sustainably raised ingredients."

"This was my first visit to MarketHouse. I've been meaning to try it, but every time I've gone to make reservations (which admittedly is usually last minute) it has been booked. So I was surprised when we arrived at 7:30 on a Friday it was half empty. While it wasn't quite the hot spot scene I had been expecting both the food and the service were excellent. Both the server and the manager (who poured our wine) were very knowledgable about the menu and steered us into making excellent choices for our meals. Want to go back for brunch!"

"I came here specifically because when I looked at the menu on line I saw that they offered a vegetarian pot pie. We decided to try it out & it was amazing. Dont worry meat eaters you can add chicken, but since im vegetarian I was stoked finally comfort food that tasted delucious & making me want to come back for more."

"We had a lovely dinner early on a Saturday. Perfectly cooked Maine scallops with baby beets and salad were a much better choice than the ramps/onion tart, a special that night. The tart was fine but the scallops were fantastic. The pea risotto was excellent as an entre,but the Cedar Spring lamb was sensational. Two loin chops, braised shank, and grilled ramps and spinach with spicy lamb bits blew us away. Cannot recommend it enough. We had a nice bottle of red wine from the Chianti region whose bouquet brought immediate memories of Italy. The wine list, though, is rather expensive for most of the offerings. We didn't have time to try dessert but the choices looked tempting."

"They no longer have one of the items on the menu and don't carry one of the wines on the list. The waiter did not tell us when we were given menus, we found out when we were ordering. The people that were ordering this entree had to select another."
