  • "We were visiting my daughter who moved to City Way last year. It was so close to just cross the parking lot for Easter Sunday Brunch. We had an excellent server and the food was great!! We had a very nice time and may make this an annual event."

  • "A hotel is built on it's service. The Market Table at the Alexander has a long way to go. The food at our Easter Brunch was very good. The selections were various, and for the most part fresh and tasty. The space also is enjoyable, up beat and modern. The service, a different story. The wait staff appeared attentative... smiling, moving about, etc., but when you're at a buffet, the basics NEED to be covered. They weren't. We had to ask a couple of times for our water to be re-filled, had to ask for our check, had to ask to have our money taken. The people behind the serving counter generally acted as if they didn't want to be there. A "good morning!" was greated with a literal grunt for the server. Like the place, work on the service."

  • "My husband and I come here often because there are not enough brunch places in downtown Indianapolis. I always have a great experience when I come here. I have brought both my parents and my girlfriends several times and I always have a great experience. I would recommend to anyone."

  • "Tasty, fresh food made right before your eyes in a "gourmet buffet" setting. The menu is refreshed daily and includes are variety of delicious desserts (and a gelato bar with 16 flavors). The setting is warm and modern. There are also two convenient and spaceous rooms set apart from the dinning room that are ideal for special occasions. We celebrated the accomplishments of a co-worker. It was also fun to speak with the chefs and explore are variety of freshly prepared food options."

  • "I dined at Market Table for lunch during a work conference. The restaurant is beautiful and set up is very nice. It is a buffet, with many options, including vegetarian, which is the main reason I chose this restaurant. The food was delicious! If I am ever in Indianapolis again, I will head to Market Table for a meal!"

  • "Last time I had brunch at Market Table, I indicated on my review that the food was great but the service needs work. Nothing has changed. The food is still great, lots of options, but chances are, you'll be halfway or all the way through your food before your drinks arrive. They even bring a glass bottle of water to leave on your table, but it takes so much time for a server to come over and bring it. Most of the servers are really pleasant people, but they need to be instructed to bring drinks before you eat."

  • "My husband and I live downtown, and we have a lot of options for brunch. We love coming to Market Table, because it is just the right amount of casual and fancy. We love the fact that you get made to order omlettes and that our waiters have always been GREAT. I have even brought my family and my friends for brunch. Special kudos to our server Alberto because he was very attentive (my husband said it numerous times and believe me he is hard to please). Last time I was there I also had Marco and he was great with my girlfriends and I suggesting that we try new things. I cant wait to come back again."

  • "The brunch spread has something for everyone. All the food is fresh and high quality. The added plus is that gelato and mini-desserts are included. But, Market Table really needs to address service issues. We come to brunch twice per month, and each time, servers are conspicuously absent. Last time, we waited over 20 minutes for a check. This time, we were seated and had eaten a plate of food before we could flag any server to bring drinks. I understand it's a buffet, but getting water or a check really shouldn't be so difficult."

  • "Out family wanted to celebrate the engagement of our daughter and boyfriend .The helpful hostess created seating for our party of twelve. Our server made us all feel welcome and congratulated the newly engaged couple by name. The food was fantastic with something for everyone( two vegetarians).Delicious choices and possibly the happiest, friendliest, chefs ever working the buffet.Everything is made fresh in the open style kitchen as you're walking around it making your selections, really fun to see experts doing their thing. This was a special day made perfect by great food, a caring staff, and time spent with family. Not to mention a very reasonably price - hard to bieve for all you receive. We will be returning!!! Many thanks to all❤️"

  • "The buffet definitely could have been kept cleaner. It was a little messy. Also, things were not labeled well on the buffet. It was a little hard to tell what you were looking at."

  • ""Come after 10am" was the advice we received... "That's when they out out the good stuff". So naturally we waited til 10am, which we found out is when they start serving brunch on Saturdays. With cooked to order muscles on the buffet and a delicious A choice of almost anything you could ask for, our pallets took a long leisurely tour through the incredible brunch options which were delightfully arranged and perfectly prepared."

  • "My wife and I spent the weekend at The Alexander and part of our package was breakfast/brunch at Market Table. The selection of food and made to order items was unbelievable!! We will definately be back! Not your ordinary "continental fare""

  • "My wife and I enjoyed an excellent lunch/brunch before a Colts game. We were amazed it wasn't more crowded. Excellent food, made right before your eyes, very attentive and helpful staff, and even the chefs were of great help with recommendations. The menu changes daily we were told. We will absolutely go back."

  • "We've been to Market Table four times, this visit was a little disappointing. The latest we could reserve was 9:45, which we later found out was because of a Santa brunch. No desserts were out as they usually were, but our waiter did find us some sweets to try to make up. Will definitely go back, just not the Sunday before Christmas."

  • "This is a lovely place to get a group together for breakfast or lunch! My only complaint was the parking stamp did not work for the parking garage. The food was great the staff went above and beyond! We will be back! We had a group of people from work that met here for a special Christmas breakfast! Thanks!"

  • "Excellent place for brunch. Lots of variety especially for those that eat meat. My friends enjoyed themselves and the service was supurb. My wife and I are vegetarian and brunch options where a little limited from our perspective. Otherwise gray atmosphere. Would recommend to others."

  • "Was good for thanksgiving reservations. Not sure what the atmosphere is on regular hours."

  • "Food was very good. The buffet works. The cooks preparing pasta dishes by request were kind of slow and exhibited no personality or enthusiasm. The waiter was good, although there is not a lot for him to do when all the food is via buffet. They should not have run out of mulled cider during a Thanksgiving event - our teen was really looking forward to it. They could have sent someone to a supermarket for more, no? Atmosphere is pleasant. The price is right."

  • "Upon arriving at the restaurant we were quickly taken to our table along the south-facing wall of windows. Our server greeted us immediately and filled our drink orders before we went to the buffets for first course. The salads were fresh, the cheeses were rich, the cured meats were local. The main course carving stations offered lamb, turkey, thin sliced ribeye, chicken - all perfectly seasoned and prepared though my ribeye was more marbled than I prefer and I cut most away. Sides included fresh sauteed brussel sprouts, mashed sweet potatoes, cornbread stuffing, and a sweet-yet-balanced-sour cranberry salad. For dessert I sampled the rich pecan pie, bold tiramisu and the pumpkin mini cakes, with the butter pecan & spumoni gelato."

  • "I had my first dining experience at the Alexander this Thanksgiving. The service was very good, and the chefs preparing the food were friendly and engaging. There were a couple of dishes on the buffet that were average, but most were very, very good!"
    Dined on 11/28/2013
  • "I went with my mom for the Thanksgiving buffet and it was very good. My only complaint was that the pasta bar sauteed the shrimp and pasta while the shrimp still had their shells on, which made for messy shrimp peeling. They had a great variety of gelato."

  • "This was the first year we ever ate out for Thanksgiving dinner. We were all a bit skeptical, but the food was awesome. A huge buffet with lots of fresh made choices. Only drawback was that we got there towards the end of dinner time and the chefs were a little rude."

  • "I love breakfast and decided to take a couple friends to Market Table for breakfast buffet as a birthday present for them. The dining area is spacious, well-lit and tables well-spaced. There's no menu as the offerings change daily, but there was plenty of fresh fruits, breads of all types and tempting choices of sausages and bacon. In addition to pancakes, french toast, cereals and yogurts to choose from, there's even an omelet station. Chef's special dishes change daily, but when we went there was an egg/broccoli/potato casserole and 'mile high pizza' that we all agreed were delicious. The waitress was friendly and attentive and all our food was very, very good. All of us want to go back again soon."

  • "I booked my reservation about two hours before we arrived for a party of 6. Upon arriving we were pleasantly surprised that we were seated in a private glassed in room with a large flat screen tv and our own waitress. Their was a fairly large sign with our name on it. We were seated and gave drink orders then went to the large buffet stations. The food was outstanding and the service was the same. The price for the brunch was very reasonable and no one rushed us at any time. The Market Table is a great restaurant and although we did not stay at The Alexander we intend too the next time we visit Indianapolis."

  • "We had brunch at Market Table. Outdoor dining could be great during warmer months. Everything was very good, and we were very aware that the restaurant was spacious. We did not have to squeeze in or out of our chairs and the aisles were wide. I believe this attributed to a very low noise level. It is also light and bright and the atmosphere lifts the spirit!"

  • "This is a great place to have a moderately priced brunch before a Colts game at $18 and park for the typical $20 on a game day. They take reservations which is awesome. Healthy options are available. I thought it was awesome. My boyfriend would have liked a few more veggies on the buffet. Mimosas were yummy and affordable at $5. Overall...a great experience!"
