I was entertaining guests, and we all had a lovely evening with amazing quality food. My only criticism was that the food came extremely quickly, so our evening was rather shortened. Great ingredients, creatively combined, and perfectly executed. Combined with a wonderful staff, it was a truly fantastic meal. We shared the carpaccio to begin with, then had the duck and the pork as our main courses. We didn't get to try the desserts but we will definitely get a couple next time we go back.
Our waiter was helpful, pleasant and very knowledgeable about the menu and the wine selection.

I started with the beet salad, which was very good. I would never have thought of pairing horseradish cream with beets, but it worked beautifully. For the main course, my husband had the pork tenderloin and I had the sea bream. Both were delicious. We ordered a side of french fries, and they were the best fries we've ever had. The restaurant is located on a street corner and has 2 whole walls of large windows which gives it an open feel. I love the relaxed atmosphere of the place with red bricks. The service was friendly and efficient. We started with the beet salads and the pea soup. Then the halibut, bar and porc tenderloin entrees to end with the panna cotta with rhubarb and the sweet potato smores. All of those were excellent. I always order "chefs choice" and am always pleased. This time was no exception. My first course was the poached egg warm salad, followed by the duck breast. Each were perfectly paired with wines that seemed to be vinted just for the menu. For dessert, the chocolate terrine was heavenly, but my table mates raved about the blueberry cobbler. I am a serious foodie, so I simply asked Annie, the server at the bar, to have the chef select two courses with no restrictions. The tuna appetizer came out bursting with flavor and the main course Pork Chop was to die for! I only hope to attain the perfect char grilled flavor every time I do chops on my own grill, and the chef knocked it out of the park. One of the most impressive parts of the meal was the requested wine pairing. Both white and red selections were about perfect and tasted as though they had been made specifically for this menu. It's been a long time since I've had such a perfect pair.
