Market Street Grill - CottonwoodGreat patio seatingMy husband and I went to market Street Grill and requested patio seating. The view was breathtaking and it was such a nice evening! The menu is mostly fish with a few steak options so if your not a fish lover, you are limited in your choices (like me). I go for the bread (so good!), the view, and the dessert (try the raspberry tart/cake dessert)! Their fish, according to my husband, is also excellent! Definitely reccomend Market Street if you want a nice dinner out with excellent ambiance!6/7/2013 12:00:00 AMDelicious Seafood!I ordered the 2 Kind Crab legs and some crab cakes and they were delicious! The crab cakes came and they had chunks of crab meat in them, not the ground up stuff lots of restaurants use. The King Crab legs were cut so it was easy to break it open and get to the meat. They give you some bread as the dish that they keep stocked at the table and it was quite good, though the crust was a bit tough in some spots. Our server was also very polite and excellent to us as well! I am definitely going back.5/27/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat atmosphere and wonderfulGreat atmosphere and wonderful view of the mountains. It's especially nice for Sunday brunch.5/26/2013 12:00:00 AMFantastic Food, Great ViewI will admit, it's been a few months since we last visited, and it was partly due to an unfortunate situation, encountered at our last visit. That situation aside, we returned, and as always, the jumbo lump Maryland Crab Cakes...YUM! The Halibut Oscar was phenomenal and the medium cooked broiled filet, melted in my mouth! If there was anything we would have done differently, it would have been to share ONE creme brulee, not each have our own. Oh well. We really enjoyed the table, with a great view of the running creek. Well done, Market Street!5/22/2013 12:00:00 AMClient DinnerGreat suggestions from the server and great meal! The clam chowder was a great starter and the halibut was amazing!5/20/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat value for the qualityThe early bird halibut fish and chips were terrific. The prime rib was good but not quite up to their usual. Service was great and atmosphere wonderful.5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMFresh Seafood in the DesertIf you're a fan of seafood and dining in a quaint locale with a great view you must dine here. I have always loved the Market Street grill, and I think this is their best location (I prefer places that have a touch of nature nearby, not dense city scenes). There's a lovely creek that flows right past the restaurant. They have an awesome year-round menu with seasonal specials. Everything is prepared wonderfully. The clam chowder is to die for! (though I must note that I've never had New England Clam Chowder in the New England area, so I have no right to compare it to the real deal) One thing that you must know, they lightly season their food, so you need to season to your own taste. If you don't, you might be disappointed with the flavor.5/14/2013 12:00:00 AMMothers Day BrunchSuperb.....Sam was our waiter...Everything we needed or wanted..always smiling...took our picture5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMAlways good foodWe love all the Market Street Restaurants---The Cottonwood is great for fresh fish. All four people in our group really enjoyed the food and the service. However I did not see your seafood Cobb salad on the menu for dinner.5/9/2013 12:00:00 AMWe will definitely returnWe had a great meal starting with a shared crab cake followed by shrimp scampi and the grilled halibut special. Nice white wine and attentive service. We are from Maine and enjoy a nice seafood option here in Utah. We look forward to going back.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMI was pleasantly impressedI was pleasantly impressed with the décor, energy and great food at reasonable pricing. I went with my wife and would prefer to go with a group as it is not exactly a romantic quite place, but a great experience none the less.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMAs usual we had a wonderfulAs usual we had a wonderful dinner. It is halibut season now so I had halibut oscar with asparagus, crab bites, and bearnaise sauce on top; my husband had stuffed halibut with crab cake. We were too full for dessert but they looked divine. Our waitress was very attentive.4/28/2013 12:00:00 AMHad the crab artichoke dipHad the crab artichoke dip w/tortilla chips - dissappointing - not enough dip to use up all the chips. Dip was dry and chips tasteless. Fresh made chips with a little more dip a little less dry in a deeper bowl would be superb:) Soup and main course was very good.
Mojito and prickly pear martini were disappointing:( Service and atmosphere was great!4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMWe had a guest with a brokenWe had a guest with a broken jaw wired shut. The waiter and the kitchen were outstanding in helping him. We had several bowls of osterized and strained soup which just fit the bill. Gary M. was the server and we could not ask for better service. Thank you so much.4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMalways a good experience atalways a good experience at the Cottonwood Market Street4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMSlight portion sizes justSlight portion sizes just right. But we recognized that this was out of your control.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMThings were very pleasantThings were very pleasant at the resturant. I loved being able to make reservations online.3/29/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Seafood in Land-Locked Utah!A great place for Sunday brunch (and other meals as well). Terrific, fresh seafood. The service is top notch, and the space is beautiful. They have a large area where tables can easily be combined to accommodate large parties--there was a party of 10-12 on the day we ate there. All in all a great place for a nice, but tasty brunch on a Sunday morning/afternoon.3/24/2013 12:00:00 AMPerfect Restaurant All-AroundGreat food and great service. Five-star dining at an affordable price. What else is there to say?
