  • Just another local pizzeria,
    GoodTime

Just another local pizzeria, and there are better within the area. If I were hungry and within a mile, I might go again, but I would not make any effort to get there. My husband liked his chicken, but the pizza my daughter ordered was very oily, with no paper napkins to blot it. It was supposed to be a vegetable pizza, but there were very few toppings. I had a mixed seafood dish, because she and I were going to share it. After I gave her all the small pieces of rubbery calamari and the three shrimp, I was left with 3 clams and a number of olives. The seafood topped a small amount of pearl pasta, which did little to carry the adequate, but unremarkable, sauce.

  • A real find!

A real find! Most excellent food prepared by some serious chefs. They are really trying hard to build a very special restaurant. They are still new in this location and the server was still learning, but very eager to please. We will keep going and watch them grow.

We ate here on Valentine's Day because we LOVE BYOB's and we know the food is excellent. Well, this was still true, which is not always so on a holiday. The special menu was amazing. The crab cake appetizer was so big and delicious (no fillers in these) that I full after eating it. The main course of filet mignon and its veggies/potatoe were devine. The dessert, a trio of hot apple pie, a chocolate lava cake, and a creme brule were some of the best we have ever eaten. The only flaw with our meal was our ditzy waitress (second time we had her). We had to open our own wine; she could open the wine. We watched her at another table; she had the same problem. She had the same problem on our last visit as well. That was the only flaw all night.

  • The dining area could benefit

The dining area could benefit from lower lighting, it was a little too bright for my liking. I think the lower light would improve the ambiance greatly. The food was good, especially the truffle pizza. The entrees were tasty but the potions were very small and very pricy for what we got. The service (our waitress was Bonnie) was excellent. She was very intent on making our time there a good dining experience.

  • Pizza was good - thin crust

Pizza was good - thin crust - if you like that - you will like their pizza. Good sauce - maybe could have used a little more cheese on the Margherita pizza. CFried meatballs were tasty although Ricotta cheese on the plate a bit bland. Clams in sauce were good tender - if not a bit salty....

  • I highly recommend this restaurant

I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. The menu was such a pleasant change of pace, the food was excellent (not only how well it was cooked but also the plating and the other dishes compliment each other quite well). The White Truffle pie was out of this world and the ravioli off of the appetizer menu was honestly one of the best things I have ever tried! I had the Braised ribs and my fiancé had the Gnudi as entrees and both were excellent. I will absolutely be coming back to Mark Joseph's not only because the food and service was great but the fact that this restaurant is definitely not that standard old Italian pizzeria/restaurant, the originality of their menu was refreshing to say the least.

This crust dough cooked on the grill. Not a strong grilled taste but definetly a good pie. Sandwich was BIG and fresh bread. Try for yourself.

EXCELLENT CORN CHOWDER, ALTHOUGH THE PIZZA IS GRILLED, I DIDN'T TASTE ANY GRILL FLAVOR.CLEAN ENVIRONMENT, BUT DINING ROOM IS VERY NOISEY AND DOES NOT PROVIDE FOR A DINING ATMOSPHERE, MORE LIKE EAT N RUN. ALL FOOD IS PREPARED FRESH AND IS NICELY PLATED.
