Marjan Fine Persian GrillGreat place to meet friendsGreat place to meet friends for a great dinner.
Everyone loved it and wants to go back.
Nobody we brought knew what Persian food was, or had any idea what to order. It was a lot of fun to explore the menu when the food was so delicious.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMEnjoyed it, but didn't win a repeatPersian food is similar to other middle eastern, though less spicy and less saucey than others. We had basmati rice which was good, though not special. They charged too much to add ingredients to the rice. Speaking of cost, this place is byob which keeps the overall cost lower. That said, dinner would not be a good value without my $25 voucher. My cornish hen was tasty. Our filet mignon kebab was OK, though not special and a bit overcooked. The stew was a ripoff with mostly sauce, little substance. The grapeleaves app was excellent; nan was OK. Very pleasant though sparsely decorated, as I would expect of Persian. I'm glad I tried it, and I did like it, though would not return with so many other middle eastern restaurants to try.4/7/2013 12:00:00 AMFine, Authentic Persian food.Fine, Authentic Persian food. Staff is very attentive and accomodating. The deserts are to die for.... BYOB4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMMarjan should be on your list!As first timers to Persian food, the wait staff was very helpful in directing our choices. Plate presentation was visually enticing to the appetite, and then came the delight for the palate! We ordered hummus and eggplant starters, followed by kabobs with salad. Would have lived to try the Turkish coffee but had to dash to the cinema. We will be back soon and bring friends!3/29/2013 12:00:00 AM
