This restaurant was outstanding. A varied menu of never-seen-before cocktails, as well as a great wine selection kept everyone happy. Each of us ordered a different entree' and all were amazing. The lemon reveal dessert was the hit of the night. The other employees of the restaurant were equally kind and welcoming to us. In terms of food, we left with a satisfied appetite and plates that were bare of any food remains because the food was that SUPERB! We ordered the duck wontons, red snapper, and iron griddles shrimp which all were tasty. For dessert, we had a trio of sorbet and the flavors were supremely refreshing and a perfect ending to a memorable dining experience at Maritana. This definitely was a pleasurable dining experience!

Expect to be impressed with the skill level of the chefs and their creations. On the night we dined, we had the Sea Scallops appetizer, while I ordered the filet mignon and my girlfriend had the lobster ravioli. My filet was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. Unfortunately, I had to give half of my steak away to my gf because her meal was inedible. The lobster had a very bad smell to it and a flavor to match. We also found a piece of a shell in her food. The waiter made it up to us and took it off our bill with no question and offered to give us something else.
Our waiter was very attentive and very kind about the situation. Overall a pleasant experience.5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMAnniversaryMy husband and I celebrated our 20 th wedding anniversary at Don Caesar on May 6. We had dinner at the Maritana and feel it was the most delicious meal we have ever had. We chose the 6 course dinner with wine pairings and along with the fabulous silverware and interesting plates, our wonderful server and the general ambiance, we have nothing but praise for this restaurant. Our only regret was not being able to personally tell the Chef how superb everything was!

We had the Lamb and the Venison, and they were cooked perfect. The Duo of Scallops were amazing, the hard part was picking which version I liked better. The only compliant is their lack of wine selection when you buy by the glass. We happened to see Maritana Grille and decided to try it on Monday evening. It was fantastic! We liked It so much that we went back with two business associates on Friday night and it was even better! Everything we had was excellent from the chef's favor at the start of the meal, outstanding bread, delicious seafood appetizers, the intermezzo, the entrees and last but not least the desserts.
