The brunch was excellent, as usual. The salmon was superb and the desserts added a few unwanted pounds. The lamb continues to be the best that I've had since Mom made it a few decades ago. The staff was courteous and our servers were friendly and attentive. Although we had to wait longer for a table than I would expect having made a reservation well in advance, I could see why Mario's is so popular after we were seated. Our waiter Jeff was attentive, the compact but well chosen wine list has a lot of options in various prices, and the food was excellent. Be forewarned - the portions are ample, and steaks come with a potato nest - you don't need to order a baked potato. The highlight for two of us was the crab and lobster bisque - proclaimed the best they had ever had! I had my elderly mother who walks with a cane. I got a booth table which seemed like one of the furthest away from the buffet and we had steps just to get there. If we wanted another table it was going to be about a 20-25 min. wait. My mom managed okay though. She enjoyed the food very much. I enjoyed it also. The hassle free no waiting on the phone experience was a great start to a wonderful evening. We would like to thank Hanna for the excellent service she provided us while dining at Mario's. We decided to have the Bruschetta for an appetizer and was very pleased. We also shared a bowl of there lobster bisque and I must say its the best I have ever had. We have been all around the country and this takes the cake. My girlfriend had the chicken French and was delicious. I had the strip steak which was cooked medium rare but was not cooked to my choice of temperature giving it 4 of 5 stars . I thought the price was reasonable, and the food was outstanding. Great selection - everything was fresh. My husband, children, and I have been to Mario's before, but it was a first visit for mom and dad. They raved about the experience and want to come again when they are next in town. The food was amazing -- but then again it always is! There were a number of Irish-inspired options. Service was fantastic. I only wish we could have heard the Irish band in the main dining room. They were terrific.
