"Ridiculous! So delicious, and full of surprises! All we had heard about Marigold beforehand was that it was very good, and that it was in my husband's old neighborhood. We were shocked and thrilled by the fact that we were brought 11 small bites, in addition to our ordered apps, entrees and dessert Everything was interesting and very tasty. We will absolutely be back! Our waitress was enthusiastic and knowledgable as well."

"Great restaurant! The food was amazing, and this is definitely the best restaurant I've been to in Philly. There are a lot of fun food surprises that really make the restaurant unique. The restaurant is very attentive to your food allergies and preferences. The waitress and staff were really sweet.

Although the food and service was amazing, this restaurant is on the pricey side. It's well worth the price, but I would go for a special occasion."

"This is the second time I eat in this restaurant, the first time was about 4 months ago. I wondered if they would be able to maintain the high quality, but they did so and in a superb fashion. The pork belly was fantastic, the take on hamachi ceviche was great, and the foie gras was delicious and entertaining. The barramundi was simply perfectly cooked, with a broth that was complex but did not overwhelm the fish. The rabbit was a playful take and a show of different cooking techniques. The servers are knowledgeable, but at no point stiff or snobbish, they also seem to partake in the fun of multiple little plates. Add to this the fact that this is a BYOB and it is hard to find a better deal for the money."

"A delightful surprise in this quiet residential neighborhood! There were at least 10 courses of amuse bouche before the appetizers, entrees, and desserts, each of which made for a tasty bite, lively discussion, and overall a very nice evening out with friends. There is an option for a tasting menu if planned in advance with a private room (minimum 6 people sharing) - can't wait to try that next!"

"We took a chance on our one- night stop in Philly to see the Van Gogh exhibit. So glad we did! This restaurant goes above and beyond. The extras they serve you are incredible little tastes that come frequently throughout the meal - not once or twice but five or six times. And the main courses are both beautiful and delicious. This chef (or chefs) really know what they are doing. And because we brought our own wine, the price was quite reasonable. We highly recommend the place."
