That’s why we’re passionate about using only the finest, most authentic ingredients available: including Antimo Caputo 00 flour from a third-generation family mill, artisanal cheeses imported from the Italian countryside and fresh, locally grown produce found right here in Colorado. Our pizza makers are passionate about food, as well – each is trained by the renowned Associazione Pizzaiuoli Napolitana. In fact, Marco’s Coal-Fired Pizza is certified as an authentic Neapolitan restaurant by the Verace Pizza Napoletana – the only certified restaurant in Colorado, and one of only 40 in the USA.

  • "We have only once experienced burnt wings and burnt gluten free pizza to be told that if that ever happens in the future to let the manager know as that means the oven dedicated to cooking the gluten free pizza and wings is too high. On this occasion the waiter brought out the wings and half were burnt. As soon as I saw this I told our server what I had been told in the past and to look out for my pizza overcooking. So lo and behold my pizza arrives burnt. The server rolls his eyes at me and takes it away. The manager then comes over and asks if I would rather eat rare pizza? I was so offended. I told him politely no and that I had eaten there around 30 times and this had only happened once before. No apology by the manager or server."

  • "This is our "go to" place for really good pizza, salad and wings. Granted, it's a lot more expensive than Dominos, but you get what you pay for. The pizza selection is unique, all really good. The pizzas are medium size, 6 slices each. Our favorite is the truffle prociutto (can't think of the name), but they are all good. Great place for family and friends."

  • "Overall we had a decent meal at Marco's. The service was great with Ashley--good energy. Good selection of beers. Can't say about the wines. Chicken wings were delish, with a Greek lemon-herb flavor, perfectly grilled. We chose the Gluten Free pizza crust which was just fair. Too chewy, particularly in the middle. I've had much better (try GF pizza at Restaurant 415 in Fort Collins). And I was charged an extra $4 for that. Many other places do NOT upcharge for that, and the most I've seen elsewhere is $3. House salad was fresh and satisfying. Overall a good meal, but a bit pricey."

  • "Pizza is just one of the four basic food groups! These folks get it right. The crust is the stuff from which dreams are made, the fresh cheeses, the aroma! AHHHHHH and YUM. Really people, if you like Dominos, Papa Johns, and the other cardboard variety, you are not a true pizza aficionado, just but merely practicing. Do yourself a favor and try the real thing. You will never go back. It's kind of like drinking boxed wine over enjoying a really fine Cabernet or Bordeaux. There is no comparison."

  • "We had a group of 6 and had an appetizer and drinks at the bar before taking our table. We shared three pizzas, a salad (they're huge!), the wings and an appetizer and everything was wonderful! The pizzas were awesome and a good size for the price. The only thing I was a little bit disappointed in was the wine selection. Our service was outstanding as well!"

  • "We went with a group for an early NYE dinner. The service was great. We started with the lemoncello chicken wings as a group appetizer, and were not disappointed. The 8 of us then split 4 different pizzas for dinner. We tried a few of their specialty drinks and then split the Nutella nuggets for dessert. We were all full and the bill was extremely reasonable for the quality of food. This is our third straight year going here for NYE, and I don't see anything changing in the future."

  • "Our table was wobbly (which was fixed by a helpful server) and six feet away from a side door to the patio. It was winter and a bunch of kids and adults kept going in and out that door, blasting us with cold air each time. No one was dinning out there, bear in mind. I explained to this to the manager and asked if we could move to one of the 3 other open tables farther away from the door. He not-so-politely declined. Next I tried the hostess for help. She was friendlier and said she would get someone to lock the door. 10 minutes later nothing had been done. I was surprised a place so well known for good food would have such rude management and not pay more attention to basic issues of ambience. Not returning."

  • "It is an upscale "trendy" pizza bar. The food was good and the nutella fingers were awesome. I enjoyed it but felt like it was missing something. It wasn't cozy, and it was a little pricy. But the food was quite good. I think the thing that distracted me the most was they advertise the coal-fired-pizza ovens and yet because the wait-staff and management was constantly standing in front of the "bar" you couldn't see the ovens. I think if they lowered the lighting.a little bit, moved the outdoor fire-pit in-closer to the seating area so it was functional, and raised the booths around the interior so they could more easily see the ovens, it would make a big change in the atmosphere. I will certainly be going back."

  • "We went during a very cold time in Colorado. We made reservations through Open Table. When we got there, they had a table right at the front door. They do not have any type of vestibule to block the cold air from coming in. So, we asked if they could seat us away from the door. So, they moved us to the other side of the entrance at the closest booth to the door. Not really away from the door in my mind. We sat there and my wife ended up wearing her heavy coat during the entire meal. There was a huge draft of below 0 air every time someone opened the door and that happened often. The food was average, probably because we were cold. It is hard to enjoy under those conditions."

  • "Yes! These were the highlight of the meal. While they have a beautiful outdoor fire feature we could not really enjoy it as they sat us in a dimly lit corner next to the only other two occupied tables in the restaurant. The staff was under-worked and more interested in chatting with themselves than being attentive to the few customers they had. The cocktails were good, if uninspired. The water and possibly ice were not filtered and was not of a quality to get away with it. The pizzas were good, though missed the point that a Neapolitan pizza should be sparsely topped in order to cook quickly at high temps and not overwhelm the senses. The Tiramisu was one of the best we've ever had. We will likely return for the wings, sliders and dessert."

  • "We lived in Italy for four years and this is the closest thing we've found to the pizza we enjoyed there. The sizes are slightly larger (one pizza easily feeds two people) and there are probably more toppings, but that's not a bad thing. The amount of prosciutto and Parmesan on the pizza was incredible, and the truffle sauced, mushroom pizza was outstanding. We'll be back."

  • "This was the first time I have ever been to Marco's and have heard so many wonderful things about them. I was very excited to try it. I ordered the pizza lunch special and was pleasantly suprised. The pizza is huge for one person and it also comes with a small salad and drink. Totally worth the money. It was delicious and I actually at the entire pizza. Couldn't stop myself. I would recommend Marco's Coal Fire Pizza to anyone that needs another option for a great lunch spot."

Food was fantastic from the wings to the pizza. Felt like a bit of Italy. Our server was attentive but not too much, and took care of our wishes and needs very very well. Cant wait to go back."

The last two times we have been here including this one the service staff seems to be a let down when the food is excellent. I hope they screen their wait staff better."
