I have often brought people to Marco's. It's got a great "Denver" feel, good food, good service, a nice atmosphere, and all reliably-so. The staff called to check in if we were still coming, as the ceremony ran late. They held the reservation and were ready for us! The food was AMAZING! I will crave the Sicilia pizza forever! The manager came over and noticed that we were celebrating something, and insisted on buying a desert for the table! It was such a nice gesture. I think our group was a little higher volume than most, but there were never complaints or requests for us to settle. The service was great, our waitress was very friendly, and didn't seem to mind us spending some extra time there after we finished eating! Marco's is "vera", which means they follow the very strict rules for both the ingredients and the process. This is the only Vera Napoletano pizza place in Denver, and you can taste the difference. We have been there as a couple and with our kids and have always had exceptional service. The happy hour specials are an excellent deal. Good wine list with some lesser known Italian gems. Delicious tiramisu! We had pizza and the DELICIOUS coal fired lemon herb chicken wings. Free parking was an added bonus, as well. Only disappointment was that they don't have a "dipping sauce" to complement their delicious wings. I understand that blue cheese or ranch may be too heavy, but I love dipping my wings and would have loved the option to enhance the flavor on those lemon herb wings!
