Diner Reviews
  • "We finally made it to Marco for our 10th anniversary of the day we met. We did choose our menu items from the Sundowner menu, so limited choices. We enjoyed our dinner, the wine, and the atmosphere. Would like to go back and choose from the full menu. We walked around to the bar and lounge area. Both very nice and would be fun to come back to with a group of friends. We'll be back!"

  • "Went there for our wedding anniversary, was under the impression the food would be excellent, pasta was too salty and calamari was greasy not worth the price they charge to dine there only thing that was great was the service."

  • "2 authentic pasta dishes is what we ordered for dinner, and they were delicious! We had to ask the server to bring us bread to accompany the pasta, and when we got it, it tasted and smelled like they reheated it with old oil. BUT, aside from that, the entrees were great. We also ordered tiramisu (very light & tasty) as well as the nutella crepes which were made at the table over a flaming pan. YUM is all we have to say about that! Presentation terrific & taste divine! Definitely something that should be ordered! Overall, great experience, nice quiet atmosphere, and personable staff. Hope this restaurant stays around for a LONG TIME in Warner Robins!"

  • "I like to treat my wife to dinner, or lunch, at Marco's on all of our special occassions. We also have brought our sons and their wifes as well."

  • "Overpriced. Food was served cool and was cold before the portion was half finished (both my filet and compainions tuna steak). Obvious seating was likely laid out on a computer to assure maximum seating; thus no privacy and little room to get between occupied tables."

  • "Food was very good. I had Filet Diane, my wife had Branzino. I don't believe I have ever had a more tender steak and my wife thoroughly enjoyed the fish. Our waiter Eduardo was very good when he was with us but apparently he had too many tables as the time between his visits was too long. Reviews I read before going suggested smart casual/ business casual as the dress code. This is not enforced since I saw one fellow in a grey T-shirt, several in jeans but at least a decent shirt. We will return but will probably ask our waiter how many tables he has and make it known we expect good service and that our gratuity will reflect service received."

  • "Our experience at Marco was not good. Food was average at best. I had the gnocchi. Could have made a way better gnocchi dish at home! Our Service was disastrous! Waited for 25 minutes after our meal for our check. Ordered another glass of wine but didn't receive it. Was charged for it anyway. Really annoyed when we left to have paid those kind of prices for poor service and food I could have made way better myself. Go to Natalia's in Macon for amazing Italian food and experience at this price point."

  • "It was definitely a splurge! While the food was very good, not sure that it was worth the entire price. The seating was fairly uncomfortable- I started out in a booth but sank significantly lower than my date so ended up moving to sit next to him in the chair. We were there for over three hours. We were there on a Saturday night so it was fairly busy so slower service was expected, but it seemed like we waited a really long time. The staff was very pleasant, though so it made it more bearable to wait. Only other small complaint was that we sat really close to a larger table, and I felt like we might as well have sat with them because I could hear their entire conversation- I was expecting something a little more intimate."

  • "Pasta, Main entree, and dessert was very well prepared and definitely had authentic Italian flavour and flare. The fried calamari, oysters, shrimp appetizer was lacking. I have had much better in Venice. Table side service was good but could use a little more tentativeness."

  • "Pasta night was a great idea ! The truffle sauce....wow! My girlfriends and I have decided to make our nights out at Marcos. Billy, our server, was clearly busy, but still kept up with our group. Truly enjoyed!"

  • "On this night, I dined at the bar, and was tended to by Amber, a gem. The atmosphere was wonderful, food to die for, and impeccable service. I am convinced that perfection dwells beyond the dining room."

  • "Marco Ristorante Italiano continues to be among the best restaurants I have had the pleasure to dine at. From the moment you are greeted at the door the experience begins. The food and the service is second to none. Warner Robins is lucky to have a restaurant of this caliber."

  • "We were at Marco last Saturday evening. It was amazing!!! We have been to their sister restaurant in Macon, & this was well up to their standards. All the food was delicious & we enjoyed ourselves immensely. The only complaint we had, was my husbands squid ink pasta & seafood. He loved the pasta, but their were only about 2 clams & 2 mussels & 2 whole shrimp- not a big enough portion for him. Other than that, the prices are extremely high. It would be nice to be able to go there more than a few times a year- if the prices were lower. Overall, we give it a 5* rating."

  • "To go to a restaurant in Warner Robins that has table cloths is an awesome experience, it was like we were transported from this little town to a bigger city. The food was great, the homemade pasta fantastic and the wines excellent. The service was great and very attentive."

  • "Marco's is a great restaurant. The waiter was knowledgable but took way too long to describe the specials. This is a very minor thing. I thought that the pricing was a little high."

  • "While seated at the bar, I was pampered by a lovely bartender (Courtney) and sated by the head Chef (Luca), who taylored a dish of his own creation to suite my taste. A wonderful experience."

  • "This is without a doubt the best restaurant in Warner Robins, GA. The nearest restaurant like it is their sister restaurant in Macon."

  • "Filling a long standing void.... Marco brings a true dining experience to Warner Robins Georgia. Chef Luca and staff, the personal care of Nazario, the owner, Kim the manager, and superb, attentive staff like Billy, Micheal, and Laurel, communicate a culture of fine food and drink in a relaxed, well appointed environment. Vibrant menu and wine list and world class cocktails round out a truly great dining establishment. Bravo!"

  • "I took my wife to Marco's Warner Robins for a belated birthday dinner, which we usually do. However, this time we were out of town on her birthday visiting our new granddaughter. The Warner Robins location is far more convenient for us, and the setting is perfect for that sort of dinner, quiet, the excellent food and the service was great."

  • "I was pleasantly surprised when I entered the restaurant. A very nice ambience with an exceptionally friendly hostess. Our server, Eduardo, was very nice and knowledgeable of the menu. The menu offered a small number of entrees, but the variety was more than sufficient to please any taste. For the price that you pay, I feel the portions were a bit small. The caesar salad was slightly dry but refreshing. The Sea Bass and Black Ink Spaghetti were outstanding - a MUST have!!! Marco is an excellent place for special occasions or for a taste of fine dining. As much as we enjoyed our experience, the cost will prevent me from returning often."

  • "My wife and I came to Marco on a whim, and we are glad we did. The interior is modern yet refined. The service was mostly good, although the maitre'd sought validation for the food a bit too often. We were greeted with a toast, then served an amuse bouche, which was a unexpected touch. We shared a caprese salad, which was perfect. The bread was underwhelming and a bit dry, but tasty nonetheless. I had the bass cooked in rock salt, which was delicious, with the most beautiful asparagus I have ever seen. My wife had the chicken napoleon, which she enjoyed, although she was bemused by the fact that it did not come with a starch. The tiramisu was nice. Overall, an elegant experience if you don't mind paying for it."

  • "This is without question the finest resturant in WarnerRobins. The prices are very fair for the quality of the experience. One does not go to a star quality resturant and expect fast food prices. Andrew (our wait lead) was unsurpssed, very unusual to find outstanding service, with a special eye for details anywhere in this area, my compliments. My family is still talking about the superb experience. For my friends and neighbors who haven't dined at Marcos' you are missing the four star Europe style of living. Thank you for what you are doing, DON'T close, we need you to bring our great city to Atlanta standards. Bon Appetite! red and Lucette Froshour, as well as, our next generation, the Large clan."

  • "Nice new place with excellent food. Would have given it 5 stars overall but the cost was $10.00 an entree too high. I will return but not as often as I would like."

  • "This level of fine dining is new to our town, be we have dined in many fine restaurants all over the world. Although there is another Marco restaurant which has been established for some time in a nearby town, it was apparent that this location is going through some set up pains. That being said, the service was good. The waitstaff was very attentive and polite. My wife had their signature fish baked in a rock salt crust and she raved about it. I had the veal scalopini, which was good, but a tad overcooked. The calamari we had as an appetizer could have been a little bit crispier. But it was still tasty. Over all, a very nice experience. I hope this town will continue to support this restaurant and its level of fine dining."

  • "We loved Marco's. It is a great place for a special date or occasion as well as just an elegant night out. The food we ordered was fabulous!!! My husband had the salt encrusted Seabass and I had the veal. Oh my goodness!!!! The wait staff were very gracious and attentive. The atmosphere reminded me of Angelina's in Macon. If I had one suggestion to make it would be to replace the bread with a nice hot Italian bread. We did not like the bread!! We will be back and would highly recommend this restaurant to others."

  • "Normally, Tuesdays are the day my wife and I set aside for a date night. We use to travel to Macon and experience restaurants up there, but the drive was too much for us. Now that Marco Italian Restaurant is in Warner Robins, we will exclusively dine there. We love the decor, the bar area, the Chef's dining area and the lounge. For us, the price was ideal. I have been waiting for a fine dining restaurant to come to Warner Robins for 4 years. Finally, it's here. We will definitely be regulars at this place."

  • "The food and atmosphere were great. Definitely made for a special occasion, as it is pricey, but it is well worth it. The chef is straight out of Italy. It's the first time I've ever had a ribeye and been able to eat the entire steak (all of it). It's a special type of beef from Italy in which the cattle are much more muscular and the ribeye was a perfect example of it. Not much fat on it but still tender and juicy. My wife had the Filet Diane, in which they finish tableside. It also was delicious. Even though she doesn't care for mushrooms, she ate every last one in the sauce that was poured over the filet."

  • "What better way to spend time with friends and family than a leisurely lunch at Marco. The lunch menu though smaller than the evening offers items especially created for lunch time. The individual pizzas are excellent. Though we had no intention of rushing through service, our waitress asked us if we needed to be out by a certain time. If we did she was going to recommend items that could be prepared quicker. This would be helpful if you needed to be back at work with in a lunch hour time frame. As we have experienced with our previous visits to Marco, everything was superb, from the service to the food, nothing was lacking. We will return again and again!"

  • "Warner Robins has been long over due for a fine dining restaurant. Marco has come to town and filled that niche with a passion for excellence. This is not Olive Garden. Chef Pasquale creates each dish from fresh ingredients. The wait staff is very attentive to your needs yet do not hover over you. The menu has a wide variety of entrées to suit everyones taste and desires. The desserts are to die for. The decor is unbelievable. This is the place you want to go to to not only celebrate a special occasion but to celebrate life in general. I highly recommend Marco Ristorante Italiano."

  • "For a while now, this restaurant has been my favorite. Very spacious and elegant, sensuous and welcoming. Shortly after my arrival, I am held captive by an aromatic display of Italian allure. I find myself in need of nothing, as I am pampered by an attentive staff, but in want of every dish that passes by. And as food is passed from plate to fork to lips, I am spellbound by the taste of true authentic Italian cuisine. Marco Ristorante Italiano has me as a loyal customer."
