Great time was had by all.....I saw this restaurant featured on a television show and it looked so inviting I had to go. On my next business trip to Las Vegas we went to this restaurant and had a great time. The menu was was varied and appealing. Attached to the restaurant is their wine store. You could go and pick out a wine and have it served at your table. Very good selection of wine at all price points. The food was wonderful, the patio was comfy and intimate, great views of lake and a nice quiet but fun atmosphere to enjoy your meal by. Highly recommend.5/13/2013 12:00:00 AMwonderful mother's day brunchMarche Bacchus had a great menu for mother's day brunch. We had salmon with fingerling
Potatoes and asparagus. Also pulled pork eggs Benedict. Free champagne. Wonderful bread pudding and cherry clagoutid5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMCelebrated out 20th AnniversaryWe celebrated our 20th anniversary at this restaurant, it was well worth the 1/2 cab ride from the strip to find it, however would recommend a car rental for future visits. The food was exquisite, the ambience was warm and inviting, and the staff and owners friendly and helpful. The 'help yourself' approach to the wine list is quite unique, their collection is amazing and most wines are rated in the high 90's.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat-little pricey! We always enjoy our visits, the food, the service and the setting. Our only concern is that the prices seem to keep creeping up.
at this rate, eventually we are concerned that we will be priced out of the market. In the mean time, it will be our favorite place, especially for special events.4/29/2013 12:00:00 AMLovely for lunchWe had a lovely lunch with friends. The salmon salad was delicious; the wild salmon was perfectly pan-seared and the aioli dressing was done with a very light touch. The individual quiche lorraine was also quite nice, with a little salad on the side. The only slight negative was that the service was very slow. The dining room became very busy and there was only one server. It took a long time to get our food, but once it came we really enjoyed it.4/22/2013 12:00:00 AMRelaxed Patio DiningI am a spoiled eater and have high expectations. Marche Bacchus did not blow my mind or palate with any of their dishes but I cannot find one fault in the food or service; which is very rare. Every single plate that was ordered was cleaned. The service was perfection. The atmosphere on the patio lovely, and obviously with the wine store, the wine selection is great. I did go on a Sunday at 5:30pm which I mention because I think the service at most restaurants is better during off-peak hours. I just wish there had been at least one standout dish to me but I will probably forget this meal shortly.4/21/2013 12:00:00 AMWe dined for my wifes birthdayWe dined for my wifes birthday with another couple and found the service to be friendly and attentive.4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat place. We will alwaysGreat place. We will always return to this neighborhood gem!4/15/2013 12:00:00 AMThis is a perfect spot toThis is a perfect spot to have brunch, enjoy the goregous water, ducks, swans and turtles. I've come for years and it's always lovely.4/14/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food - wine overpricedGreat meal! Marche Bacchus is great for sitting out on the patio for dinner on a nice evening! Great selection on the menu, and very good French food. I have been here many times and love it. The only draw back is the wine shop and ordering a bottle of wine. Example - Molly Dooker (retails at Lees/Total Wine for 24.99 - 26.99) Price to buy at the store 29.99, price for "resteraunt" is 39.99. Still a great bargin, but they charge an extra $10 from the retail for the waiter to open at your table. This is insane. I could see at $10 corkage fee if you bring your own, but really??4/14/2013 12:00:00 AMFabulousI had dinner here with three of my friend who were visiting from L.A. We all had a fabulous dinner and enjoyed the view of the fake-lake that Marche Bacchus is on. If you want something different and delicious this is the place to go.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AM3rd time's the charm.Dined twice here and found the experience outstanding. Patio seating both times, elegant but comfortable. Will definitely return for a 3rd time.4/11/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food was outstanding,The food was outstanding, the service was very attentive, and the live singer made the lake view shimmer even more! Great place to enjoy a special night out.4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMWe hadn't dined here in severalWe hadn't dined here in several years(kick us in the head, please!). We really don't live that far away, but will definitely be making the trip again soon! The food was mouthwatering, the wines delicious, and the view by the lake was worth millions!!4/5/2013 12:00:00 AMthis is las vegas?Enter through a wine shop and what a surprise when you reach the back. Our favorite place to take visitors. Food is great. The lunch option of two courses (entrée and choice of salad or dessert and a glass of wine $20.)is perfect. The chicken breast with French fries is so good. Don't miss this place.4/4/2013 12:00:00 AMClassic, well prepared FrenchClassic, well prepared French but not heavy. Good sized, shareable portions. Friendly service. Pick your own wine from store in front and drink it with your meals for $10. Wonderful outdoor eating by the lake.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMA perfect 10We love this place. Always has a great fixed menu for special holidays. The owners are always gracious and friendly. You feel like you're on vacation when you dine there. Great food and service each and every time.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMWe have been fans of MarcheWe have been fans of Marche Bacchus for several years, and it has steadily improved from a good start to its current standard of excellence. It is a bit on the expensive side, but well worth the price. A good place for a leisurely meal and quiet enough to have a good conversation with your dining companions. Excellent selection of wines, at $10 over the retail price.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMEnjoyed a wonderful meal withEnjoyed a wonderful meal with visiting family! The food was delectable, "foi gras appetizer" and "french onion soup" were well prepared! Our entrees of black truffle risotto with perfectly prepared scallops and moules mariniere were very tasty. The Spanish bottle of tempranillo wine we chose went well with all dishes. The service was attentive yet discreet and our 6 year old granddaughter enjoyed her chicken tenders selection from the children's menu. All in all, a great dining experience for the entire family!3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMFirst Time...Going back regularly!Food was amazing. Servers were professional and personable. I had Black Truffle Parm Risotto and it was the best Risotto I've ever had. Wine list is great and I love that you can browse the Wine Shop and then just take a bottle to your table for barely a few dollars more than retail.3/29/2013 12:00:00 AMRemarkable food. Chef doesRemarkable food. Chef does a top notch job and the menu is simply outstanding.3/29/2013 12:00:00 AMSo worth the trip. Talk about goodI loved this place. Steak and frites were what I needed.
The desserts topped it off.
The beignets and their dipping sauce are not to be shared.
When done....take the rest of the dipping sauce as a shot.
High quality French food. Lakeside view. Big big wine selection.
Worth the trip.3/28/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat wine seection. WonderfulGreat wine seection. Wonderful food and the view is spectacular.3/26/2013 12:00:00 AMWell worth the time and money.Well worth the time and money. Don't expect superb service, just very good. The food is superb! An unexpected pleasure hidden in a drab "strip shopping" complex.3/19/2013 12:00:00 AMThis is my new favorite placeThis is my new favorite place to dine off of the strip!3/19/2013 12:00:00 AMThis is one of the nicestThis is one of the nicest restaurants in Las Vegas. We bring our visitors and they are always impressed that there is such a great restaurant here without all the expense, noise, rudeness, and snootiness of the strip.3/17/2013 12:00:00 AMTime consuming dinnerI was very impressed by the quality of food. It was very delicious and they have a wine shop before you enter the dining area. You can buy the wine before you eat or buy it at the table of course for a reasonable price. The only gripe I have is that the service was slow. We got our appetizers about 45 mins since we sat down and our entrees about 2 hours. I would have wreaked havoc if I didnt have my wine beforehand and the company of my husband. It also helped that we didnt have plans afterwards. The food was very good and therefore I would go back. The waiter was nice and attentive. The staff overall was nice. My husband says he wouldnt go back because of the amount of time our food took to come out.3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMVery disappointing.Had loved this restaurant and the beautiful location. However, I think they have a new chef, and I was really disappointed. I ordered the cheese/fromage platter. The menu said there would be five selections and there were only four. The cheese was still chilled, but most important, all the selection were very similar. They were all firm, dense cheeses and although they were each different cheese they were so similar as to offer no real variety, no contrast in textures, smell or mouth feel. I mentioned the short count on the number. He apologized and said his kitchen handmade a mistake, but that was it. By then, I just wanted to leave. Very disappointing. Didn't even have baguettes. I thought it was French.3/12/2013 12:00:00 AMMarche Bacchus had a veryMarche Bacchus had a very unique wine selection process with a store selling wine attached to the restaurant giving a wide selection that only had a small mark-up for serving at the table. The food was very good and outdoor seating even on a chilly Las Vegas night was comfortable with the heaters.3/5/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food is good. The sceneryThe food is good. The scenery is outstanding. The attached wine store is fun to browse through, and the prices are reasonable. The service is sometimes good, sometimes not. This time not, though in fairness, we were there at prime lunch time.3/4/2013 12:00:00 AMWhat sells Marche BacchusWhat sells Marche Bacchus is the view of the lake. We had a leisurely (and tasty) lunch, and shared a bottle of wine while being entertained by the dogs, a rabbit, and geese on the other side of the lake.2/27/2013 12:00:00 AM
