The atmosphere was great - especially the fire place & warm hues the dining room was in, We had a cozy corner table. Tables are spaced so you can have an intimate meal. It was RW & our first time at MC. I will definitely return. The food was outstanding. My salad w/calamari had a delicious homemade dressing. The steak was lean, tender & cooked perfectly. I loved the bacon horseradish crust. The flavors were amazing together. Our waitor was classy & so professional- but even more so considerate. He went above and beyond to accomodate me as I was avoiding dairy. Lastly the cocktails- So many good ones to choose from. The Vanilla Kiss was my favorite. Far more inviting than a stuffy steakhouse atmosphere.
Dining area is quiet and we were seated in a corner table by the main fire place.
Appitizers were crispy calamare salad and a small lamb chop with a rich reduction around a creamy spittzle.
The crusted tri tip steal was perfectly grilled & the papardelle & lamb shank flavor was full bodied. Italian cheesecake was traditional, but the rice pudding could have been more interesting
