Chef Marc Mazzarulli of Opus 465 has opened Marc Charles Steakhouse located on the premise of the La Quinta Hotel in Armonk. In this newly renovated space, Mazzarulli, focuses on quality cuts of beef, chops and seafood. Here patrons can customize their steaks with a variety of ‘accents’, ‘accessorie…s’ and sides. "Nice to see that the menu was representative of their regular menu during restaurant week. Pork chop was thick and deliciously prepared grilled medium rare. Meat was sweet and tender. Tri tip was marinated, however meat was not as sweet as aged beef could be, taste was of the marinade, which was nice. Nothing fancy about the desserts, plain chocolate mousse in an ice cream dish, plain slice of cheese cake. Disappointing transitional wine list, a nice list but requested wine was unavailable, although a substitute was offered for the same price. Wait staff very attentive."

"French onion soup was delicious, but scallops wrapped in Bacon way too salty. The steak was delicious, but the salmon was dry and SIS not taste fresh. It the lemon in the sauce was over powering. Just overall dissappointment. The crwamed spinach was too salty, but mashed potatoes were good. Desert cookie pie was good, but certainly not exceptional. I wouldn't necessarily ever order it again. I don't know that I would not go back to marc Charles"

"Steak at Marc Charles was outstanding as was the pork chop. The only problem I had was with the scallops which were a little dry and tasted as if they had been frozen. I just loved their potatoes and spinach. Couldn't stop eating the chocolate chip cookie. All in all is was a good dining experience."
